Doing A Job

Vanoss was taking off his mask. Or so I thought. Turns out he was just scratching his chin. I sighed and walked away.

"So much for getting my hopes up." I say.

A few hours later into the day we had the entire gang at the apartment. It was odd but also quite fun. Except for Wildcat. I swear something is off about him.

It would seem like either mostly everybody was cool and trusted me, or they completely forgot I was here, but nobody had their mask except Basically, Wildcat, and Vanoss.

"Alright! Let's get the this started!" Vanoss said.

Everyone all went to the living room and waited for Vanoss to continue.

"I'm sure some of you are wondering why I brought you all here today. Well, it's time we do some shit!" Vanoss said.

There were a few mumbles of agreement while others just nodded their head.

"So for you Delirious, this is going to be the big test. And to make it even better, we are going to be robbing an armored truck."

I swear to God I can fucking hear the smirk in his voice. He's making fun of me. And to be honest, he has some what of a right considering if it wasn't for him I'd be either dead or locked up in jail. Probably both.

"Whatever." I say and shrug.

"So how many teams are there going to be?" Wildcat asked.

"We are going to have several. We are going to have the decoys which will be in a car and stop the truck. Maybe have an accident in front or something that forces them to stop. We are going to have a team sneak behind the truck and place the explosive. We will have two teams for backup. One in a car and one in a chopper. The others will be on the comms letting us know what cops are coming and how many." Vanoss said.

I bet I'm either the decoy or on explosives duty. Either way it's gonna suck.

"Delirious, you will be with me sneaking around the truck and planting the C4. Deal?"

"Aye Aye Captain!" I say.

"Alright. Wildcat and Basically, you guys will be the decoy. Lui and Nogla, you will be in the chopper. I want Moo and Mini in the other backup car. Finally I want Ohm, Jiggly, and FourZero on comms."

"Why do I have to work with Nogla?" Lui said.

"Cause I'm the fucking best." Nogla said.

"What happened to Mary?" Wildcat said.

"Listen that bitch had it coming alright!" Nogla said.

Everybody laughed and Nogla flipped us off.

"Alright. I'm gonna have Lui and Mini find out when the trucks leave, where they go, what streets they take and all that other necessary crap." Vanoss said.

The two nodded and left the room.

"Alright. Now-"

"Can you please stop saying alright? Like god damn!" Wildcat said.

Everyone laughed. Even Vanoss.

"Ok! Time for everyone to get the fuck out my house! Just joking enjoy yourselves." Vanoss said.

"Fucking smart ass." Wildcat said while chuckling.

Guess I'm either about to pull this off for real, or I'm about to fucking die.
