The New Gang

First mission

I was back at Vanoss's place. We had a good training session. I actually learned allot. I even impressed them with my ability to fly any helicopter and any plane. I'm also a better shot now.

" Well Jonathan. I have to say you impressed me." Wildcat said.
I nod. It feels good to have their respect.
" Guys. I'm bored as fuck. We're gonna go rob a bank in Sandy Shores. A simple one. It's a good training mission for Mr. Delirious over here." Vanoss says.
"Del, you'll be flying a cargobob. Lui, you will to. Wildcat, Your with me in one car. Mini,Moo, your in another with Basically and Terroriser. Everyone ready? Lets go!" Vanoss said.

I got in a car with Lui. We drove to a special area with all the aircraft vehicles.
" Here. Put this in your ear. It's an ear piece so you can here us." Lui said. I put the device in my ear.
" Can you hear me?" Lui said through the ear piece.
" Loud and clear." I say.
" Let's get this show on the road! Well, in the air." Lui said. I laugh.

I start up my helicopter and look over to see Lui doing the same.
" We've got a long flight ahead of us." Lui said through the ear piece.
" At least you don't have to stop at every fuckin intersection." Wildcat says. I hear Lui chuckle.

" Change of plans air team. Since we will be arriving late, you guys are to land at McKenzie Airfield until needed. Okay?" Vanoss says.
" Roger that!" Lui says in a squeaker voice. I laugh.
"10-4" I reply.
" Good. Now for-"
"GOD DAMNIT MOO I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU FART ONE MORE TIME I'M KILLING YOU!" I hear Mini yell. Everyone got silent.
" You all heard that didn't you?" Mini says.
" Yeah pretty much." I say.
" Now Vanoss, continue." Lui says.
"I forgot what i was gonna say."
I facepalm. I did it a bit to hard though. I accidentally slaped my head to the back of the seat.
"Saw that Delirious." I hear Lui laugh. I look around and see him flying to my right.
" That's our secret." I say to him.
" What is?" Basically asks.
" Delirious slapped his head so hard that he hit the back of his seat." Lui says. I flip him off.
" Thanks for keeping a secret jackass." I say.
" Anytime bro."

We reach the airfield at about five. We landed the helicopters and just talked to each other.
"Vanoss. Delirious and I have landed in said area." Lui says.
" Good job. ETA until arrival, about twenty minutes." Vanoss says.
Why are they talking like that?
There is no one around us.
" Hey Lui?" I say. He puts his finger up to his mask. Apparently someone IS here.
I am silent for a bit.
" So Del. How did you meet Vanoss?" Lui slightly whispers.
I chuckle.
" Funny story. I was attempting to rob an armored truck."
" In the middle of a busy intersection." Vanoss chirps from the ear piece.
" Thank you. The story wouldn't be fully told without your help." I say sarcastically.
" Anyway, i was fully prepared for it. I had my guns, my sticky bombs, and lots of fear." I got a laugh out of Lui.
" Well I'm gonna keep things short. I fucked up. The cops were after me and i was running. I accidentally bumped into him while running and he took me to this tornado shelter thing. He kept me there until some dude came and picked us up."
" That ' dude' has a name" Basically says.
" Obviously. Anyway, they tied me up and put a bag over my head and threw me in a van. We then showed up and that's when i met you." I said. Lui nodded.
" Did you leave any family behind?" He asked.
" No. My parents kicked me out when i was fourteen." I say.
" Wow man. Was it because of drugs?" Lui said.
I shook my head.
" No. I don't want to talk about it. Lets just say my parents sucked."
Lui nods.
"I hear ya man." He says.
" So Lui. You leave anyone behind. Like a girl that you liked?" I say.
"Aw fuck way to go dumbass." Wildcat says.
" Hey! He didn't know did he? So shut the fuck up!" Lui practically yells.
" There was a girl. Her name was Mae. We were dating for a few years. I loved her so much. I was ready to propose to her. Until one day when we were at the park together. A turf war went down. She ended up getting caught in the crossfire. They couldn't save her. I was devastated. So i decided to make my own gang to track down the bastards who killed her. The same day i made my gang, was the same day i met my leader. He asked if i wanted to join. I joined of course. That's how i ended up here." Lui finishes.
" Wow. I- I'm so sorry man. Did you ever find them?" I ask.
" No. I'm still looking for them. And when i do, i swear to god I'm gonna make them suffer. They are going to feel the pain that i felt! They are going to feel what its like to lose someone you." He couldn't finish. He started crying.

I wrapped my arm around his mask. He then threw his mask on the ground. I looked away, not knowing if he wanted to let me see his face.
" It's okay Del." He mumbled. I looked at him. He looked pretty young. A bit a facial hair but besides that nothing to noticeable.
He started crying again. I hugged him and we slowly started sinking to the ground together. I rubbed his back and whispered that everything was going to be okay. After a bit he calmed down. He still had his head to my chest and i still rubbed his back.
" You two ready? You better be at Sandy Shores airfield in fifteen." Vanoss says. Lui and I get up and he puts his mask back on.
" Lets go." He says. I nod.
" Oh and Delirious? Thank you." He says.
" No problem man." I say and get into my helicopter. Lui does the same to his.
" Last one there buys dinner!" I say.
" Only between the two of us! I'd go bankrupt paying for everyone!" Lui says.
" Is that an insult?" Mini asks.
" Maybe." Lui says and we take off.

I beat Lui to the airfield by a few seconds.
" Looks like your buying Lui." I say.
" Whatever. Vanoss ETA." Lui says.
" Right about, NOW! Lower the chain!" Vanoss yells.

We lower the chains and the two cars attach to them.
" We're good. Lets go!" Wildcat says. I pull off and see Lui right behind me.
" You guys all good?" I say.
" All set!" Lui says in his squeaker voice.
" We're good lads." Mini says.
" Don't shake us to hard!" Wildcat says. Just because he said that i yanked my control sick around just a tad bit.
" Hey you asshole! What did i just say!?!" Wildcat yells. I hear Lui laugh.

We get back to the hidden aircraft base and land everything. Lui and i get into the car with Wildcat and Vanoss and we follow Mini back to the apartment.

When we get there, Wildcat punches me in the arm.
" That's for being a dick." He says. I chuckle a bit.

" That was a successful mission boys. Lets also give a big round of applause to Delirious! His first mission went extremely well!"
Everyone clapped for me. I blush under my mask.
" Thank you guys! Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna take my lazy ass to bed." I say. They all say goodnight. I walk to my room and plopped down on the bed. I instantly fell asleep.
