OPHELIA POV

With fury fogging my brain and a knife in hand, I'm no longer in control of my anger. I stumble toward the bathroom where the root of my agony is, Kegan.

As I'm entering the bathroom Bella catches a glimpse of the shiny silver object. We lock eyes and at that moment I feel like I'm watching the scene from outside my body.

Milos pov

"I want to show you something," my dad gets up and walks outside to the pond he signals for me to follow, so I do "I have always watched you, Milo I never stopped you aren't dead because you have someone who needs you."
He pauses breathe I know who he's talking about it's Ophelia I can't let her down not after this.

"Look at the pond and think of who you want to see, it could be your mother, Ophelia, or anyone else you can think of." I don't even think I just yell "Ophelia" my dad gives me a goofy smirk and asks "you love her? Don't you?"

"Yeah I do," I pause and watch her holding me "she's perfect in every way... She makes my world go round! I live for her, she is my life and I want to make her my wife." I let out a loud sigh "I wish you could be there dad, it wasn't fair you promised you never leave."

"Milo, I think it's time you learned how and why I... passed."

"I know how you died, you went into a structure fire and died being the hero you are."

"It wasn't just another structure fire, the 147 was called there because like I said I was a part of Jacks' gang. Another gang threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of the two-story building that another gang member's uncle owned. Before starting the fire they chained the uncle to a chair on the second floor."

So not only my I lose my life but my dad was murdered because of Mr.Rose!

"Upon arrival, me and Tim (the other firefighter) went to the roof to ventilate when we heard muffled screaming. I told Tim to wait upon the roof wail I went to get the survivor and I did but once I got him out through the roof. I was shot from behind in the left shoulder they tried to get me but by the time they got to me I was long gone."

"Dad, I'm so so sorry you had to go through that." I watch a tear fall from my dad's cheek when he says, "dying wasn't the hard part, not being able to hug you or your mom again was the hard part, not being there for you in time of need that was all the hardest parts."

"You didn't miss anything you were up here watching me and mom. I knew you were there I could feel the love you radiated." I sighed and took a breath "Ophelia needs me I don't want her to do something she will regret. It's time, but I don't want to have to say goodbye yet I still have so much to say."

"Then say see you later and anytime you want to talk just lookup." Then without warning, my dad says he loves me then pushes me into the pond.

Bella's pov

"Ophelia, what are you doing? Put the knife down, Please."

"No, Kegan made hurt me... He hurt Milo so he's going to hurt as bad as we did."

"I didn't mean to hurt you guys it was a mistake, How can I make it up to you?"

"That's all you have to say "it was a mistake" go to hell your nothing more than an insurance, power-hungry, whore!" Ophelia yells wail stepping closer to Kegan with the Knife pointed at him.

"You want to make it up to me? Wake Milo up bring him back to me or I'll gut you like a fresh-caught fish!" The knife meets Kegan's throat and I can tell she's applying more and more pressure.

Ophelia's pov

I meet Kegan's throat with his own Knife when I feel A hand get placed on my shoulder. I look past Kegan to see Bella still sitting on the lip of the sink if she is there who's touching me?

I turn around when my eyes meet with Milo's tired blue and brown eyes.

"Milo?" we all ask at the same time.

"Princess, give me the knife you don't want to do this"

He's right we don't want to - for once you're not wrong.

"But baby he hurt us...you, I don't know what I would have done if you didn't wake up." I put my hand on his cheek

"Ophelia Rose this isn't who you are, give it to me, please."

"Fine," I give Milo the knife and melted in his arms, I lost it I started balling.

"Milo, I'm so sorry I never meant for this to happen I really mean it, I never meant for it to get that out of hand."

"It's okay" is all Milo said before wiping my tears from my cheeks "come on, you need to rest so let's go cuddle."

As we're heading to where our blankets that have constructed a bed-like structure are. I feel Milo's grip on my hand loosens he starts to stumble. When I ask him if he's okay he just grabs my cheek and says "I love you, princess." Then he just collapsed I let out a blood-curdling scream "don't do this to me, Milo, please please, please open your eyes squeeze my hand anything."

Bella rushes over to Milo to check his pulse, she puts her middle and pointer finger on his neck and says "I'm starting compressions he doesn't have a pulse." I turn to Kegan and say,

"You did this to him and if he dies then I'll really kill you." then the room starts to spin and I feel like I can't breathe then I faint into Kegan's chest.
