MILO'S POV

"Ok, so you both understand the plan?" Asks Ophelia in a stressed tone

I hear Bella say "mhm" then I hear another voice say "yes" in a deep raspy voice.

who is that? They sound familiar... Is it? No, no it can't be, She wouldn't do that, right?

"Bye Kegan, I'll find you when I leave here," Bella says as Kegan leaves the room

KEGAN? I was damn sure right!

"Princess?" I ask again louder this time so she can hear me.

I hear both of their laughter stop the air in the room goes serious and they both look at each other. The next thing I know Ophelia is on top of me hugging me like it was her last time. The world felt like it stopped like we were the only people we melted into each other, all my pain went away under her touch. I feel her tears roll onto my shoulder and I'm confused so I ask "Baby are you okay? Are you hurt?" she picks her head up off my shoulders and I grab her cheeks in my hands and examine her for any cuts or bruises all that's on her face are old bruises from Kegan.

"I thought you were going to leave me here and break our promise."

"Awww babes I'll never leave you, not till you off this hell hole of a boat."

"Milo you have to promise that I and you both make it out alive! Please I can't do that again."

"I pro- you know I can't promise that and I'm so sorry that I can't. I just don't want you to think that hope for the best but be ready for the worst. But there is something I need you to tell my mom If I can't that I and dad love her and to keep living for us."

"Ok, but I'm not going to have to tell her cause you'll be there."

I give her a tight-lipped smile and signal for her to lay back down after a few minutes no matter how hard I fight I fall back asleep.

BELLA'S POV

"Bella!"

"What?! And why did you say my name like that Kegan?!"

"No reason I just wanted to say everything is Ready for Tomorrow."

"Oh, perfect thank you," I say trying to walk away

"Can I get a hug since I helped you?"

He is joking, right?

"No," I say as I turn to walk away but before I could get away Kegan grabs my wrist to spin me around "When are you going to quit pretending that you don't love me." He says in a joking but serious "What do you mean I don't love." I say as I laugh a little. Kagan gasps and grabs his chest faking pain which causes me to laugh Kegan smiles softly and we lock eyes. We slowly move our faces closer together till our lips our millimeters apart suddenly I feel Kegans soft lips press against mine.

Aren't we supposed to be mad at him? Shut up?

Were both out of breath as we feel the rain start to fall we pull away. I'm still pressed against Kegan's chest when he says "see I told you're still in love with me."

"No! Kegan I'm not I was but not after what happened with Milo that when you lost me." I start to shiver as the cold rain hits my skin "So you're never going to forgive me cause I messed up one time!" He says with the feeling of betrail laced in his voice. "Yeah, exactly because that one time some innocent boy almost died!" I say pushing as far away from Kegan as I can I start shaking from cold and adrenaline. "Come inside please you're shaking I'm so sorry for what I did I never meant for it to get that far I never wanted to ki-" I cut him off as he tried to plead with me.

"HURT HIM! You just meant to hurt him and like that makes it any better! I can't even with you!- I grab my socked hair with my hands- you know after we get them off this boat were done for good!" I yell I can't look at him any longer I feel the tears start to pool in my eyes. I turn around and run as fast as I can. I hear Kegan's footsteps chasing me but I can't run fast enough Because kegan grabs me by the waist picking me up.

"LET GO! LET GO OF ME KEGAN NOW!"

"NO! NOT TILL YOU CALM DOWN!

"PLEASE! Kegan let me go, please." I say as a sob my eyes out. Kegan tries to soothe me but the emotions in me are overwhelming I have to Kegan how I feel because it could be the last time I get to. "Kegan you're right, you're right about everything I love you and I don't want to I can't love you, I don't want to, It hurts to love you." I can't hold back my tears I feel like Niagra falls "I promise that no matter what that you let me have a chance I'll never hurt you again and you don't have to answer now or in ten years but I will wait no matter how long it takes." Kegan says as a tear rolls down his cheek I can tell he his being honest.

Ms. Rose's pov (Ophelia's mom)

Ring Ring Ring "this is Jey-Youngs phone please leave a message after the beep."

"Yeah, Mom Jey isn't answering my calls and ignoring me when she sees me. I feel like I'm in middle school again I just want to talk about Milo he is like a son to me he spent enough time in my house. I love that boy like he is my own son went missing."
