The Haunting Past

The next morning;

I saw Regina woke up feeling sore, her feet, her arms, her back, and her head aches.

She grunts as she got up from the couch, giving a gentle massage to her forehead, she stretches her arms and shoulders and her feet, when a nurse came in to check and give me my dose of medicines. I abruptly closed my eyes and pretended sleeping.

"Good morning ma'am Regina!" The nurse bubbly greeted her.

"Good morning din!" She forced a smile. "Ahm, dumating ba yung kasama kong lalaki kagabi?"

"Hindi po ma'am eh!" The nurse, without looking at her, she was injecting something in my IV. "Wala pong dumating na bisita magdamag!" She smiled at her now.

Regina looked puzzled and confused, she took her cellphone from her bag and dialled..

frustration crossed her beautiful face

when no one answer on her third attempts.

"Miss may trabaho pa kasi ako, pwede po bang paki silip-silip ang kaibigan ko the whole day? Pakainin niyo narin ng breakfast and lunch, please? I'll be back here after duty!"

The nurse nodded

"Sure ma'am!"

"Thanks!"

The nurse smiled and went outside after her brief examination on me.

Regina stood up and went inside the small toilet and bath inside my private room, seconds later she came out and opened my trolley, she searched for something to wear and went back inside. I could hear splashing of waters from inside, few minutes later she came out again, dressed a new. She hurriedly took her bag from the table and kissed me on my cheeks.

"Bye muna bhest, I'll be back later ha!"

Her heels echoed in the four walled room I'm in. And the door shuts.

I slowly opened my eyes and turned my gaze towards the door..

Suddenly tears pricked my eyes.

Anong gagawin ko? Paano ako pagkatapos nito?

I cried hopelessly and desperately.

I realized, I badly needed Mom and Dad and Ate.. I feel so hopeless.

Kaya siguro lagi ko silang napa-panaginipan, kasi I want them, I need them! Huhuhu!

Just when I remember something, from my dream.

That woman, she's unfamiliar, pero bakit parang ang laki ng galit niya sa akin? I mean, malamang ay hindi ko siya kakilala, pero lage siyang nasa panaginip ko?
Ganun ako ka disturbed by the incident? My gad, nababaliw na ba ako?

I had a lot of questions in mind, and I know no one could answer it all for me, but it's for me to find out..

Wait, what?

My thoughts was cut when a nurse came barge in again, she's holding a tray with breakfast on it, I could smell the aroma of the fried egg. It was with hotdogs and a cup of rice, with fresh milk.
