My best friend Regina tickled me from behind.
'Hey?'
I frowned and calmed down after seeing it was her.
She's been my best bud since my first day in the company. I used to call her 'Gigi' for her nickname. We're at the same department.
'What's up for tonight honey?' She teased me in a flirtatious voice. Tingling my left ears.
'Tonight? What about tonight?'
I teased back, I know what she's been up to.
'Come on? You turned him down again?' She exclaimed, widen her eyes, as if it was new to her.
'What do you want me to do? Date him and then dumped him? Wala ka na ba talagang awa don sa tao? Lagi mong binibigyan ng false hope eh!'
'Urgh' She rolled her eyes
'Give the guy a chance Chris? Why don't you? Have the heart naman!'
She frowned.
I didn't argue, and didn't even looked up from my papers.
'I think he is a good guy, I like him for you bhest!' She said pouting.
'Thanks but no thanks, I don't like him for myself, PERIOD!' I said and looked her in the eyes with my this-is-over look.
'But why are you like that? Why..'
She pleaded.
'I said enough Regina!!' I almost yelled at her. Heads from other cubicles turned at us.
She then stood up from sitting on my table and said.
'Okay Christina' and walked back to her table, frowning and looking sad.
