Chapter 2:~Wedding~

When they arrived back to The Dreams of Fire's secret camp two days later, Adelina made sure to put a protection spell over the camp to shield them from the outside world just until King Henry's raged had calmed down.

Christian did not want to be apart from the woman he loved so much longer anymore and he decided to propose to her tonight. He knew that his father would never allow him to marry her and since his father was immortal, he knew it would take a very long time before it was his time on the throne which may never even happen. And if it did, Adelina would already have died and would not become Queen. He did not want to think of his wife dying away from him just because he was immortal and she was not. He would focus on the present and the time he had with the woman he loved more than anything. He knew Adelina was still grieving Adam's death and would do so in the time to come. But he wanted to bring the happiness to her life that he could with his love. Marriages was something the first humans, elves, fairies, dwarves, and Marvenas had come up with at the beginning of time and different marriage traditions had evolved over time by the different races of Shivanna. He carefully pulled out the rings he had been gifted as young to give to his future wife. He smiled weakly for himself as he looked at the silver ring with the diamond and two sapphires. He just needed the right moment to ask her for her hand in a marriage. A marriage he knew his father would disapprove of. But he doesn't care about that anymore. His and Adelina's love is only what matters to him now.

Adelina sat in her room when Christian gently knocked on the door. She wiped her tears away and turned towards the door. "Come in," she said gently. It had now been a week since Adam's funeral and for Adelina it still felt like her friend had died yesterday. Christian carefully entered her room and closed the door behind him before gently walking over to her bed and sat down on the chair in front of her. He gently took her hands in his and kissed them. Adelina smiled weakly at him and Christian looked up at her. "How are you?," he asked gently. Adelina sighed and looked at him. "Sad but I'm glad you're here with me. Glad that we will now be together for eternity," she explained and Christian sighed. "About that," he began, "There's something I want to ask you," He slowly pulled out the ring with the diamond and the two sapphires. Adelina looked at him with smile. "Adelina White," Christian began, "Would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?," Adelina smiled in happiness and went straight to hug him tightly. Christian looked up confused. "Is that a yes?," he asked. Adelina broke the hug and sat down again. "Yes! I mean, "Yes! With all my heart!," she said. Christian smiled and gently took her hand and put the engagement ring on her ring finger before kissing her deeply on the lips.

A few days later, the couple went on to their wedding. Christian's friends/knights was there to witness the wedding of their future King and Queen. It didn't matter that Christian wasn't Crown Prince of Westrose anymore. For them, he was now King and Adelina Queen. Gwydion was there to actually pronounce the ceremony. Christian looked at his future wife who was dressed in a white long gown with golden pattern and trailer. Around her forehead, she wore a golden circlet tiara. Her dark brown hair in a long braid. He was himself dressed in silver robes and silver pants and mantel. "I...take you, Adelina White, to be my wife before the Gods," Christian began, "To have and to hold from this day forward, to forever be by your side for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, I'll forever pledge myself to you, heart, body and soul until death do us apart, according to the Gods holy laws and the gift of mortality by Uversio, this is my solemn vow in the eyes of Gods and angels," And he put the wedding ring on her finger and Adelina smiled softly at him before beginning her vow. "I... take you, Christian Eaglewood, to be my husband before the Gods," she began, " "To have and to hold from this day forward, to forever be by your side for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, I'll forever pledge myself to you, heart, body and soul until death do us apart, according to the Gods holy laws and the gift of mortality by Uversio, this is my solemn vow in the eyes of Gods and angels," And she put the silver marriage ring on his finger and gently grabbed his hand tightly. "Do you, Christian Eaglewood, promise to take this woman to be your wife and love her for all eternity?," he asked. Christian smiled and looked at Adelina. "I do," he said softly. Gwydion turned towards Adelina. "And do you, Adelina White, promise to take this man to be your husband and love him for all eternity?," Adelina smiled softly at Christian. "I do," she said. Gwydion smiled, "It's with great honour, I know pronounce you, husband and wife," And Christian and Adelina kissed each other deeply on the lips and the knights, Elizabeth and the rest of The Dreams of Fire clapped.

Adelina sat in her and Christian's new chambers in their bed in her great tent/house when Christian entered the chambers. He gave her a sweet smile and started trying getting out of his wedding shirt. "Adelina, can you?...," he began, causing his wife to burst into happy laughter. She walked over to him and helped him getting out his shirt. She swallowed nervously and gently placed her hand onto the soft light skin of his bare chest. She was only wearing her soft nightgown and she felt a little bit cold and wanted nothing more than getting into their bed with the silk warm covers that was waiting for them. Christian smiled softly at her and leaned forward and kissed her deeply on the lips before lifting her into his arms, carrying her into their bed, gently laying her down before getting out of the rest of his clothes before hovering over her carefully. Christian swallowed nervously. "Adelina, I have never," he began. Adelina smiled softly. "Neither have I," she explained, "Just fallow your heart. I want you, Christian," Christian leaned forward and started kissing her and Adelina put her arms around his neck. She didn't seem even a little uncomfortable with him hovering naked over her, she rather seemed to want him to take off her nightgown. Christian then slowly started kissing her neck and he smiled softly for himself when Adelina released a soft moan. Her whole body felt warm and she wanted him to touch her and take her off her nightgown but she didn't know how to show him. Could she just tell him or was it to forced? She then grabbed his hand and placed it on her chest. Christian breathed slowly and looked into her eyes. "You sure?," he asked carefully. Adelina nodded and Christian slowly opened the bottoms of her nightgown, softly kissing her bare light soft skin, making her moan softly. "Christian, I'm freezing a little. Can you please hold me closer?," she asked. "Of course," Christian said and kissed her forehead before pulling her against him, pulling their covers tightly over their naked bodies. Adelina closed her eyes and soon fell asleep in her husband's warm arms.
