Chapter 1:~The Capture~

Christian arrived back to Westrose and Gwydion showed up in front of him. "Christian!," he exclaimed, "Where have you been? I've been looking for you for a month! The Kingdom has been greatly worried!," Christian sighed deeply and looked at his friend. "Long story," he explained, "I'll tell you later. Where's my father?," Gwydion looked at him and let out a deep sigh. "In the throne hall," he declared and Christian nodded and hurried past him. Emmett walked up behind Gwydion and turned to him. "I fear we're about to hear much rage," he stated. Gwydion turned towards his guardian and sighed. "This cannot be good," he said and they went after Christian towards the throne hall.

Henry sat angrily on his throne when Christian entered. Henry's gaze was completely heartless and Emmett and Gwydion who knew of Henry's true heritage and that he actually was the son of The Demon King Amaranth knew what rage their King could unleash and would if Christian told him something that completely defied him. "Father," Christian began. Henry looked up at his son angrily. "Where have you been?," he asked angrily. Christian took a deep breath and Emmett and Gwydion looked worriedly at each other. "I've come to tell you that I have fallen deeply in love with a woman, a commoner, and that I want to be with her for the rest of my life. She's beautiful, loyal, gentle and loving and I cannot accept to take any other woman as my wife but her," he explained. The hall became completely silent and Gwydion and Emmett looked at Henry who looked at his son in rage. "Who is she? Who is this woman you dare to be with and cost to be stripped of your title!?," he exclaimed. "Her name is Adelina White and I love her with all of my heart," Christian explained. Henry stood up in rage. "You would dare to marry a sorceress! Descendant of the sorcerers who I destroyed four years ago!," he exclaimed angrily. "You killed an innocent girl's parents!," he exclaimed and Henry stood up. "Haven't I raised you better than this?," he exclaimed, "I am your King! You shall show me respect!," And he held up his hand, causing Christian to be sent backwards to the floor and Emmett and Gwydion swallowed. Christian looked up at his father shocked. "You have magic?," he said fearfully, "How?!," Emmett swallowed. "Because your father is the son of Amaranth, The Demon King," the physician explained sighing. Christian stood up in shock. "You said my grandfather was an elf," he stated. "She was, she is," Emmett said, "She was the granddaughter of Aranel of Westrose and Alma Thivalda," Henry walked over towards his son. Christian looked at his father angrily. "You lied to me all this time!," he exclaimed angrily. Henry ordered his guards to grab his son. "Where is this Adelina White?," he questioned. Christian shook his head in protest. "I will not tell you!," he explained angrily. Henry slapped his son's cheek and Gwydion swallowed hard. Christian let out a cough. "Tell me or I will do something even worse!," Henry declared and Christian felt tears welling up in his eyes. "In the west side of The Silver Wood," he said in defeat. Henry turned towards his guards. "Send a message to the patrol! Tell them to bring this Adelina White and her closet companions to me!," he ordered and looked up at his son. "You're going to watch her die as punishment for your unforgivable actions," And Christian felt tears streaming down his cheeks and Emmett hurried back to his chambers.

Well back in his chambers, he grabbed a letter and started writing down a message.

Dear Elissa
I know there has been much disagreement between you and your older brother Henry. But I Emmett know beg for your help. I your brother has gone to far and that he cannot see what's coming and that his own daughter may be a part of it. Therefore, I beg for your assistance before your nephew and the woman he loves pays the price. Maybe it's time your parents really see what's become of their son.

He sent a away the letter with his crow and hoped the message would reach The Witch of the North before it was too late.

Christian stood in the throne hall with the guards and father when he surprisingly attacked one of the guards and hurried out of the hall. "Christian!," Henry yelled loudly.

Christian rode through the woods and arrived at sundown at The Dreams of Fire's camp. "Christian!," Adelina exclaimed confused and Christian hurried over and hugged her tightly. He breathed out in relief. "I'm so glad you're alright," he said and he kissed her lips softly. Adelina looked up at him confused. "What is it? Did it work?," she asked worriedly. Christian shook his head. "My father didn't accept the news very well. He has sent guards after you and bring you back to Westrose. He plans to kill you in front of me. You have to leave," And suddenly, they heard yelling of the Westrose's guards. "Go!," Christian declared, "All of you!," he exclaimed and Elizabeth grabbed her friend's hand. Christian turned to Adam. "Look after her, protect her," he begged. Adam nodded, "I will," he said and they hurried away. Christian soon felt the guards grabbing him and the Captain walked over to him. "Where is she?," Christian swallowed and the Captain turned around towards the way Adelina had gone with her friends and smiled. "This way! They cannot have gone far," he explained.

Christian stood in the throne hall held firmly by his father's guards. His father sat on his throne and Gwydion and Emmett stood silent with the rest of Christian's knights. Suddenly, the gate opened and Adelina, Adam and Elizabeth was brought before Henry and forced to kneel. "You are the enchantress who's played tricks with my son," Henry began. Adelina looked up at Christian, her eyes full of tears. "I love your son, My Lord," she said and Henry stood up and turned to Christian. "Kill her!," he ordered a guard and Adelina stood up in fear. The guard drew his sword and Adam stood in front to protect Adelina and was struck in the lower stomach by the sword to protect Adelina and Adelina cried out in tears. Christian tried to break free from the guards grip and Elizabeth and Adelina caught Adam before he hit the hard floor. Adelina sat up onto her knees and looked down at Adam with tears in her eyes as he held pressure on his bleeding wound. Adelina held her hand to heal him when Adam stopped her and grabbed her hand. "Adelina, you can't do that... You have to let me go... You shall be with Christian... This was my choice to save you... This is the end I chose...," And Adelina shook her head and Adam smiled weakly at her before he died and Adelina broke out in tears as did Elizabeth who hugged her friend tightly. "No!," Adelina cried and Christian broke free from the grip of the guards and hurried over to Adelina and took her into his arms. Christian looked up at his father angrily. "You're a monster!," he exclaimed, "I will go! And I will not return until you're gone forever!," And Henry swallowed hard and Christian helped Adelina up and his Knights/friends fallowed Christian out of the hall, carrying Adam's body out of the hall with them and Henry swallowed hard. Melinda smiled wickedly for herself as she watched them from a corner of the hall and she left to tell Cerridwen.
