I had a lot of work as a senior, and Sybil was trying out sports. I took the time to visit him and brought coffee for us too. We sat in the corner of the court.
"I didn't know you like sports too." I started; we're at the basketball court near the Avitrin Woods—all my years here, I never entered there; they say it's forbidden.
"Well, I never really tried sports before. My mother excelled me with music. I never liked her meddling with my life, and I hated it."
"My mom is quite the opposite. She always listens to her father's decisions; sometimes, I think she's a misogynist. I hated her for not meddling." I looked straight at Sybil's starry eyes. Just by saying our thoughts, we knew;
Mothers are never perfect, we hate them, but we also know they only do what they think is right. Sometimes it's terrible for us, and we hate them.
"We hated our mothers, but they're also whom we love the most," I agree with Sybil.
"It's just relaxing to talk about our feelings like this," I exclaimed. So this is what it feels like to let your emotions go, and you have someone right beside you, listening.
"Hey, Sybil!" We glanced at the person who called.
"Oh, hi, miss Hoshizora! I hate to ruin your 'alone time,' but m'lady, I need to steal Sybil from you." I just smiled at Ash, and as a reply, I stood up.
"Well, there's our clock." Glancing at Ash, "I'd also get going; see you later. Bye!" I exclaimed and walked out.
"I'm going to get you later!" I heard Sybil exclaim just before I left the court.
It's still 6:30 in the morning, and my class starts at 7. I wanted to stay.
Can I do that? I mean... I still have time to spare.
I turned around and walked back to where the court was. Sybil's my boyfriend. They can't say I didn't go back just for anything.
A smile crept on my lips as I entered. Sybil and their teammates are playing. And Sybil... I don't like seeing guys sweating because I find it gross, but... has Sybil always been that fit?
His broad shoulder, his hair, everything about him! I sat at the corner of the court, watching him slay there. I don't understand basketball that much, but I know where they stand to get 3 points and the fouls.
I probably spend my 30 minutes watching their practice. Sybil looks happy playing basketball, and this is what he told me that he wouldn't do?
"Hey, Sybil, isn't that your girlfriend?" I almost jumped when someone yelled and pointed at me. Sybil stopped dribbling and looked at my gaze, then smiled.
I gave him a 'What are you smiling about' look. He runs towards me, grinning from ear to ear.
"I thought you left," he exclaimed with a teasing smile formed on his face. I wonder what he's thinking right now.
"Why? Do you want me to leave?" I asked. I acted hurt and sad.
"If only you knew how desperate I was to tell you to stay," I said, looking straight into my eyes.
"What?" I uttered. Did he say that just now?
"Oh, it's nothing! You're already late. Let me get you to class!" With that, he pulled me with him, running.
"Sybil!" I exclaimed and tried to stop him because he kept on pulling me. But I ceased it since he didn't stop unless we were in front of my room.
"Wipe your sweat first!" I shrieked. He could catch a cold by not doing so!
