It's dark. It's quiet.

But it's the darkness and silence of the slumber I had. It's been a while since I've experienced a peaceful sleep. The kind of darkness and silence that makes me at peace. And yes, I woke up.

As soon as the sun-kissed me, I saw a man smiling widely at the entrance and my exit to the outside.

"Good morning!" I raised a brow at Sybil. He's doing this, isn't he? His standing at the girl's dormitory, waiting for me?

I walked past him, and I felt him follow and settle at my side. I'm on my way to the House meeting room.

"You're doing this?" I first broke the silence.

"Yep, every day! Till you can believe me that I like you." I looked at him sideways, and I could see him grin widely.

"And what will you do if I tell you that I like you too." Like duh, as if.

'You sure?' A tiny voice in my head. Well... maybe, just a little bit.

"I'll ask you to be my girlfriend." He said that grin didn't leave his lips.

"Well—wahhh!" Before I could react when I tripped. I felt a tug on my arm, and someone pulled me into a hard-flat chest. I could feel his arms wrapped around me. It feels cozy.

"Well, what?" I felt something in my cheek heat as I remembered what notion I had in his arms. I pushed myself out of his grip.

"Well, let's go!" I exclaimed and turned around, and went on my way. I glared at the rock, which was the perpetrator! Stupid rock!

Students were gossiping and laughing all around us when we arrived at the meeting house.

"What are you talking about?" I couldn't help but ask. The way the girls giggle and boys grin at each other, I know something weird is happening here!

"Lille! We're talking about this year's play!" I frowned and went to sit somewhere. I closed my eyes and massaged my forehead.

"What play?" I heard Sybil's voice, so I stopped and looked at him straight into his starry-blue ocean eyes.

"It's a play every year, and each house acts like one of those fairytales. The ones with once upon a time and happily ever afters." That just so... not okay.

"Don't you like fairytales? I mean, I thought girls like those." I raised him a brow. Duh, it doesn't mean I'm a princess; I believe in happily ever after.

"Well, I'm not one of those girls." I turned my back on him and focused my eyes on the notebook I carry every time we have house meetings. It became a hobbit.

Before Sybil could ask anything more, silence covered the whole room when Senior Kai and Senior Astra went inside.

"Let's start the meeting, shall we?" Senior Kai took his place in front of all of us.

"I've been hearing a lot about the play often this past few weeks, and I guess some of you know about it, mmm?" He started walking slightly.

"This time, the theme of the plays is 'Once Upon a time and happily ever afters' those kinds of plays. I have the list of the choices we have, and we have 8. Wait just for a moment." Senior Kai exclaimed and got the clipboard from Senior Astra, and faced us again.

"Please distribute the copies to everyone." I wonder what choices there is this time. The distribution came around quickly.
