Seven : Friends

"Girl!" Oh, I know who that voice belonged.

I looked back at the voice. And there I saw 4 of my friends rushing towards me.

"We finally get to see you!" Altair exclaimed. She's the one who let me borrow a Uni the other day.

"Sup," Therese blurted out this time.

"What are you girls doing here?" I asked; before I heard an answer, I got a giant ice spear in my way. I swiftly dodged it and glared at who threw the spear. Well, well, well.

"You ungrateful brat. You should be happy we visited you." Asteria exclaimed this time. Who is the literal ice queen?

"Asteria said you bugged her again," Zinnia said this time.

"So, it only means that you're bored," Altair exclaimed.

"Let's go grab some food!" Zinnia exclaimed, and I shook my head how my friends knew me. If I bug one of them, they'll assume that I'm bored, well, not that it's a lie.

"Lille, they have your favorite chocolate!" Therese exclaimed as she seated in front of me. "Here, I bought you some!" I smiled and took what she had to offer. I don't have a specific favorite. I just like chocolate in general.

"So... how are you girls doing?" I asked when Zinnia was back with her awful lot of food in front of her.

"I'm good," Therese stated; I looked at Altair.

"I'm offended by your question! You know I just broke up with Aldean!" I rolled my eyes at Altair; I don't blame her. She's one independent woman, and she doesn't want a dependent man.

"So who else changed their relationship status?" Zinnia asked this time.

I looked at Asteria, who was quite the whole time. I vaguely moved her shoulder. She gave me a 'what' expression. I gave her a look. How are things with Brix?

"Hey, Lille. We heard you mentored again. Who is this guy?" Altair asked, looking teasingly at me.

"We also heard that he's handsome. So... plan to change?" Zinnia asked teasingly as well. I know very well they are talking about Sybil.

"For the last time, I just want to focus on my studies!" I exclaimed, they always ship me with some random guy they want for me, but I always decline. I never had a boyfriend ever since I came into L.Q High.

"Ahmm, hello, m'ladies. May I borrow my lady Lille for a moment?" Everyone's gaze went to the guy who spoke.

I was about to decline, but Altair, Zinnia, and Therese nodded and pushed me towards Sybil. I glared at them, traitors!

"What is it, Sybil?" I asked when we stopped when we got out of the cafeteria.

"President Kai said that we should get going," He stated.

"Oh, shoot! I forgot! Could you wait for me? I'll get my stuff." I exclaimed and hurriedly went back inside. I rushed around to our table, where I saw Zinnia, Altair, and Therese giggling.

"Back so soon?" I didn't have time to look at Therese. I was busy getting my things in my seat.

"I'll get going. I forgot about the Wings!" I blurted out and took my stuff as I hurriedly back at Sybil. I didn't mind their curious-teasingly smiles.

I almost kissed the dirt because of a hurry but good thing Sybil was there to catch me.

"Slow down; I'm just here." He stated and chuckled. I gathered myself up when I got struck by his sudden laugh.
