-TEENAGE YEARS-

John was sat on sherlocks bed, nosying around his new Christmas gifts while sherlock was in the bathroom. He found books, clothes, card games, radio, and a Polaroid camera? He fiddled with the buttons, carful not to break it knowing damn well his part time job could not cover the cost of one of these.
"Knew you'd find it eventually." The brunette smiled, placing himself beside John.
"You have no clue how cool this is." John announced, glancing up at sherlock realising his nosiness was probably not the most polite.

"Wanna take a picture?"

That was the start of many Polaroids of the two, pictures hung on walls, constant losses of money for the ability to print for photos. They were everywhere, in wallets, Christmas card. Poses of them planting kisses on each other's cheeks, going on walks throughout London, or simply cuddling at a random hour.

Though, as they grew older, and the process of moving out had started. The photos were stuffed in a box, only to collect dust over the years.

-ADULT YEARS-

When rosey had started growing up they knew they needed a bigger house, somewhere where she can run free. So it's exactly what they did. They didn't realise half the junk they had, all of it tucked away out of reach. Though they both knew it'd be worth it, the new house was gorgeous, even the attic was luxurious.
"We should of searched these before bringing all the boxes here." Sherlock muttered, flattening another box to the pile.
"To be fair, we already threw out a shit tone of stuff." John quickly answered. Silence was continued between them, mostly shuffling and scraping. Until John found a small box, similar to a music box but more beat up.
"What's this?" He glanced up at the brunette, tipping them lid open before the box was swiftly snatched from his hands. "Sherl? It was in the attic box." He followed the lean figure to the kitchen counter as he slowly glanced inside. "Mind sharing to the class?" Though all John received was a small chuckle, as sherlock picked up a few pieces of card. The shorter man pulled the box around, making his jaw drop at all the little Polaroids piled up in the box.
"God.. we were obsessed." Sherlock laughed, glancing through a couple. They exchanged a few giggles, dusting off the pretty little pictures.
"You really kept all of these?" John questioned, still unable to remove his smile.
"Obviously." Sherlock tutted back.

They spent their whole evening curled up on the sofa talking about their teenage relationship.
