Today is Mother's day.
Happy Mother's Day for all the mother's reading this whether they're mothers through blood or not.
Last night, around 11:45pm, I thought everybody was asleep I went to my mom's room. But for once she was not. She was on her phone watching something. I was going to do a U-Turn but because of my stupid mindset I went in anyways.
I don't know why but I have this mindset that is basically like:
'I'm half-way through/there, I might as well carry on.'
Which is very much annoying because my dad knows that and he told my mom. I could genuinely feel sick in the morning but they'll send me to school saying 'if you still feel bad then you can call us and we'll being you back,' knowing damn well that I'm not going to call them because 'I'm half-way through the school day, I can do another 2 or 3 hours.'
So I went in and quickly dropped it on the nearby table. My excuse was that I was going to get water. Which is not unbelievable because I've gone into her room several times for water. But I made it out alive so I'm happy. I wrote a note on it saying don't tell me anything.
She told me this morning.
Well she was curious to when I got it and where I hid it.
I bought it on Thursday but didn't bring it home because my bag was heavy and I had PE on Friday so I could easily put it in there. So I put it in the small pocket of my PE bag and because it was in the small pocket the movement was minimum or none at all, so it didn't move. After that, I hid it on top of wardrobe, behind the Alexa box next to the Nerf gun and on the other 2 sides was the wall so it was hidden from all 4 sides.
I'm a genius, am I right?
Unfortunately, Rio is one too.
He woke up first, saw my gift, noticed the 'Happy Mother's Day' note, took it to our mom and said 'Happy Mother's Day'.
The audacity.
But I raised him well.
Actually not.
He shouldn't be around me.
On Thursday, post park revision, Rio and I were supposed to be working on our laptops.
We weren't.
Instead, I was on my phone and Rio was on YouTube. As soon as we heard footsteps, I dropped my phone and he switched tabs, pretending to do work.
Yeah, I'm a bad influence.
Yeah, that's it.
I was going to search up something and now I've lost interest in this so I'mma head out.
