Chapter 10 ~ Reaction

~Blake's POV~

Gold looked at me questionably, I continued looking at the ground. "We should go get something to eat, I'm starving!" Gold exclaimed returning his Pokemon and setting them onto his belt. I did the same, I grabbed Gold's bag and threw it at him. He caught it and put it on, I did the same. I grabbed the key card from the counter and headed out the room. I handed the key card to the Nurse Lady and headed out the Pokemon Center.

Gold somehow already found a restaurant, he wanted to meet there. I began to run to where the restaurant is located. It was really easy to find because Gold was waiting outside of the restaurant doors. Gold held out the door for me, "Thank you kind sir" I said with a smile, "Your welcome fair maiden" he said with a bashful smile. I giggled as I scanned the restaurant, Finding an empty wooden table near the window. I quickly sat at the table and so did Gold. We both ordered our meals, the waitress came back with our drinks. I grabbed my drink and took sips from it, there was an awkward silence for a while.

'When do I tell Gold...?'

"Before you get to Lavender Town"

'Why?'

"There will be something waiting for you there"

'...'

I looked back at Gold, he was happily sipping from his drink while looking at the scenery outside from the window like there was no care in the world. I began to pull on my shirt, should I tell him now? if I wait last minute something bad will happen, I know it...

"Gold..." I said nervously, he turned to me and dropped the straw from between his lips. "Yes?" he said, "I-I have something to tell you..." I exclaimed twiddling with my thumbs, "Well, what is it?" he said in worry. "I'm going to have to leave you later on in our journey..." I mumbled "What? Why?" Gold exclaimed. "I'm... a reincarnation of a powerful pokemon that destroyed the Kanto region years ago, and I must be trained to control my power so I don't end up destroying the Kanto region once again, or another region..." I looked down at the floor, I held up my left arm " I'm wearing this hand bracelet to help keep my aura in control"

I heard no response from the teen, Why did a tell him so soon? I looked at the floor in shame.

"...When will you leave?" Gold asked, I perked up my head. "When you finish the Elite Four, and heading to beat the Elite Four in Kanto" I replied back. He nodded in response, " We'll have to make this journey fun!" Gold exclaimed, I smiled.

That went smoother than expected

"Blake?" Gold asked, "hm?" I hummed. "Why are you're eyes Purple instead of the normal Silver color?" He exclaimed. "I guess they changed because of my before life?" I questioned, he nodded in response.
