~Midnight~

~Blake's POV~

I starred at the white ceiling, I couldn't get that much sleep. I always feel like I'm being watched, it made me paranoid. I pulled the covers off me and got up from the bed, I could feel the rug flooring between my toes. I looked around the room, Gold was sleeping on the other bed, and I could hear a slight snore coming from his direction. I couldn't find Logan anywhere, I walked to the window, the many trees covered the bright moon. I grabbed my pokemon and headed out the pokemon center.

My raven hair flowed from the cool breeze, I walked down route 4, it seemed to peaceful without all the trainers around. I continued down the dirt road, I ended up at Mt. Moon. I entered from the cave entrance, even the inside looked so beautiful. Crystals and gems shined and glimmered throughout the cave. I continued down the trail, when I climbed up the ladder I could see a faint shine in the distance. I couldn't help but follow, I can never control my curiosity.

The shine came from a cave full of crystals. There was one on a small Rick pedestal, it was a purple, gold, and red gem. It's shaping was a rough sphere, it seemed like it wanted me to grab it, I don't know it I should.

"So, you found it" I quickly turned, Logan was leaning against the cave entrance wall. When is he ever... He grabbed the gem, he placed the gem in my palm. "Remember the necklace your mother gave you" I nodded "do you have it with you?" Logan asked. I nodded and pulled the silver chained necklace from my pockets. "Let me see it please" I gave him the necklace, he placed the gem into the empty socket, it fit in perfectly. How? He put the necklace around my neck and latched it together.

He took a few steps back, he scanned my body. The way he looked at my curves made my feel uneasy, "Perfect, your mother did well" he exclaimed. My eyes widened, he noticed my surprising stare and regretted what he said. "I-I didn't mean it like that, s-sorry" he stuttered, scratching the back of his neck. "I-It's fine..." I replied looking at the gem shimmer like all the other crystals.

"You should go, Suns about to rise" Logan said examining each crystal as he pasted by. I nodded and jogged my way out of the cave.

I entered back on route 4, I could see the bright pallet of orange, and yellow illuminate the once darkened sky. I finally made it to the Pokemon center in Cerulean City, I jogged my way back to the rented room. I grabbed and pulled onto the silver knob, there lied Gold. Still sound asleep.

I let out a sigh, I laid back on my bed, setting my Pokemon onto the bedside table next to me. I got into a comfortable position and laud there, letting my body relax into a peaceful slumber.
