George's POV
He grasped his dog's leash firmly, following the path he could never seem to get used to. The school was like his own personal obstacle course, the hallways all felt the same half the time and the other half of the time he was slamming into people by accident. His guide dog, Max, pulled him along gently, and although he was blind he wasn't stupid, noticing how Max would occasionally stop, people obviously ignoring the blaring DO NOT PET on his vest; causing George to stumble forward every once in a while. He sighed, freezing in place as he stood in what seemed to be the courtyard, although at this point he had gotten so turned around he hardly realized where he was. A gentle tap on his shoulder caused him to jump as he cursed under his breath, swerving around. "I'm really sorry but I know we have class together so I'm wondering why you're in the courtyard on the opposite side of campus. Would you like to walk with me to class?" George internally smacked his forehead but nodded politely outwardly, thanking the stranger. Thanks a lot Max he thought in his head.

Clay's POV
He'd been watching George for months now. College was a hassle but it was well worth it if he got to see George. When he finally found him he could hardly believe it, centuries had passed in a slow and agonizing blur, but finally he had found George by coincidence a few months ago. He snapped back to reality as he looked down at George's short figure walking besides him gingerly. This was the first time he'd had an actual conversation with the man since he'd found him, he had held his composure thankfully, but he had teared up slightly when George gave him that oh so familiar smile that always shattered him, no matter how much time passed. George finally spoke, "Sorry I hadn't asked till now but what's your name? I'm George by the way...wait you probably knew that..wait maybe you didn't. Um.. yea sorry. Anyways- name?" Clay fought the urge to giggle, George was as clumsy as ever, even in this lifetime. He smiled softly and the words that he'd been practicing for centuries left his lips
"I'm Clay. Nice to meet you."
