As a teenager Stiles would always see himself as an adult with his best friend, Scott, by his side. They would be protecting Beacon Hills together all while they took on their future careers. Scott would be doing what he wanted while Stiles would push himself to succeed in making the FBI academy. He always imagined his girlfriend, Lydia, would be his biggest supporter. They would be each other's anchors when needed. They would love each other unconditionally forever. Sadly for Stiles that dream was cut short.

He fought the demons in his head after all he'd been through in high school. Stiles would ignore their false opinions and move forward. His friends within the pack including Lydia, Liam, Theo, Derek, Malia, Kira and the alpha Scott would help him through it. That feeling of comfort and love from one's who don't hold the same blood in their veins as you creates a big impact. It's struggling fighting all the terrible memories, but he got through it, with them at his side. Though, that feeling of love and comfort soon left him.

After the horrifying fight with Gerard everything started going back to normal, well, as normal as it can get for a group of supernaturals and a sarcastic human being. The accomplishment Stiles felt for himself and the team quickly faded. Scott had called a pack meeting at the Hale house calling to all who could come. What came next surprised him.

It was after dark on a Friday afternoon. The trees stood still as the wind remained silent. The road ahead of him was gravel and the crescent moon in the sky was keeping earth alight. He drove until he found himself parking in front of a house.

They were all sitting in the loft talking to each other in whispers when Stiles walked in. Closed the door catching everyone's attention. A genuine smile plastered on his face as he took a seat beside Lydia. The talking stopped as they all looked at him.

"What?" He asked curiously.

Scott stood up looking almost disgusted and angry. He crossed his arms in front of him taking a step forward. Stiles took Lydia's hand for consolation. She pulled away with a frown on her face refusing to look him in the eyes. She scooted away making him puzzled.

Scott exhaled looking down on him, "we've been having a discussion about this for a while. Stiles, so much has happened and with you leaving the first time..." he paused hesitating before speaking again, "you're out."

"I'm out?"
"Of the pack."

Derek had just walked into the house walking in on the conversation. He stood in silence watching between Stiles and Scott. He couldn't find the right words to speak so he remained quiet watching as everything played out.

Styles sat in silence flabbergasted. His jaw slacked as he looked at his lap. "Why?"

"We have our reasons."

Stiles peered over to Lydia who sat with her arms wrapped around herself as securely as she could. Her eyes haven't left the floor. He looked at her skeptically raising his brow. "Lydia," he said, his voice breaking.
