Stiles woke up the next morning in is old room. His wife was sleeping on the other side of the bed and his daughter was sleeping between them. He smiled at the sight before him. Raven turned herself over with her eyes still shut and gently laid her head on on chest.Lizzy's eyes fluttered open. She adjusted herself to the lighting allow her surroundings to come into view. She peered over to Stiles who calmly brushing his hand through their daughters hair.
"Good morning," she said below a whisper.
A couple of genuine laughs were heard outside the door indicating the team was up and ready. "We should probably get ready." His wife nodded and lightly shook Raven's shoulder. She awoke rather abruptly. "Hey, hey, it's okay. What's wrong."
"A bad dream." She huffed out.
Stiles smiled down at her. "Don't worry, little one, I have bad dreams too." He looked to his wife for some help comforting their daughter.
"We all have bad dreams honey, nothing to be ashamed of."
The trio started getting up and got ready for the day ahead of them. They walked down stairs to gather the others. Stiles instructed Raven that she would be staying with her grandfather while he and her mom worked. With no fuss the team exited the house and traveled back to the station.
Stiles pulled out his phone dialing Garcia. He put her on speaker for the rest of the team. "Oracle of Quantico. Speak if you deign to hear truth."
"Hey Pen, any luck on the search last night?"
"I'm glad you asked, JJ. Whoever this guy is he's good, really good, but I'm better. He secretly reached out to law enforcement through coded messages on the web."
Hotch furrows his brows before pulling out his phone. He goes into his unread messages and shows it to the team. "Like this?" He briefly showed the encrypted message to Lizzy who nodded.
"Aaron if you wouldn't mind us hacking your phone we can get working on whatever it says." He nods approvingly handing his phone over to her while she grabs her computer walking into another room.
Derek adds to the conversation, "this further explains why we were never added in. If multiple cops got the message but didn't speak of it they probably didn't dig deeper into it."
"The bad news is that he's more interested in our involvement than the police force here," Emily implies.
"But the good news is that he reached out and is looking for an audience."
Stiles shakes his head looking at the board then shooting his head to his watch. "It's Friday guys if he doesn't get what he wants he's going to get his next target."
"Not unless he already has her," a red head walking into the room says. "You know how I work Stiles, I'm not joking about this."
"Where's the rest of the pack?"
"I don't know and frankly I don't care. Some shit happened after you guys left and everybody separated."
Stiles took in the information before responding. "So you're helping us on your own?" She nodded. "What happened?"
She sighs looking out the window of the police station. "Let's solve this case then talk, okay." He nods soon after her little speech. "I've been getting these feelings, the Banshee ones not the other kind."
"So soon to be dead or dead."
"Yes, but since I haven't found a body yet I'm going with the first one."
JJ crosses her arms looking at the young red head. "If he is holding them for about twelve hours before he disposes them, what is he doing with them in the meantime."
