"Hold your hand like this and you'll be able to get more fire out."
"Like this?"
"No like this."
"Ah, ok."
Izuku held is hand downwards and slowly raised it while releasing fire at the same time. He then drew his hand backwards and thrusted it forward, smiling as he watched the fireball set the log in front of him on fire. The young boy looked back at his older brother and smiled at him, proud that he had made some more progress with using his quirk. Touya gave Izuku a small smile and a thumbs up before laying down on the ground and sighing.
"What's wrong Touya?" Izuku asked.
Touya turned his head to face the young boy and ran his hand through Izuku's hair. He sighed again before looking at the sky again. Izuku could tell that his older brother was a bit upset so to cheer him up, he wrapped one of his brother's arms around him and snuggled close to him. The smaller red-head looked up at his brother and grinned when he saw the contentment on Touya's face.
Izuku gazed at the sky and began pointing out clouds that looked weird to him. Touya joined in and the there the two brothers stayed lying on the ground and chatted without a care in the world.
After a little less than a hour passed, Touya stood up and stretched. Seeing Izuku's sleepy state he told his brother to hop onto his back. After making sure that Izuku was secure, Touya began making his way out of the forest and down the hill.
"We should start a hero agency together." Touya said to Izuku whilst carrying him.
"Yeah and Shoto to." Izuku said sleepily.
"Yeah and Shoto to." Touya replied.
𝓣
"Me and Touya were thinking of starting our own hero agency." Izuku told Shoto as he clambered onto his bed.
"That's cool." Shoto replied as he covered himself with his sheets.
"Yeah and we want you to join us." Izuku said excitedly.
"Really?" Shoto queried.
"Yep."
"Well I'd love to."
The two boys said goodnight to each other before to bed.
𝓣
"One, two, three..." Izuku counted while Shoto ran of to hide. Enji wasn't at home today and their siblings had all gone out together leaving both him and Izuku alone with Rei. They decided to play hide and seek with the once in a lifetime chance they had and Izuku decided he wanted to be the seeker.
Shoto made his way to hide in one of the closet when he heard his mother talking to someone. Curious, he peeked his head inside and saw his mother crying on the phone. He called out to her, taking small steps towards her but stopped in his tracks when she turned around suddenly and he saw her face.
She looked crazed and her eyes were filled with hatred, something he'd never seen on his mother's face before now. He watched in terror as she reached for the kettle that had finished boiling while simultaneously hanging up and dropping the phone onto the counter.
"Mum?" He questioned again, taking small steps backwards as the women grew dangerously closer. Suddenly, Izuku burst into the room. Shouting at Shoto that he had found him but his smile vanished upon seeing what was going on in front of him.
Rei gripped the kettle handle tighter before moving to pour it on Shoto's face, luckily Izuku had pulled Shoto out of the way and she ended up pouring it onto the floor. The white-haired woman fell to her knees and began to cry before reaching out towards her children and asking them to forgive her through tears.
"What's going on here?" Enji asked walking into the kitchen. He had finished the job early and decided to get home quickly so he could train Shoto and Izuku. When he got home he had expected the twins to be playing a game or be watching TV, not huddling together in the corner of the kitchen while his wife begged them for forgiveness.
Rei turned towards him with fearful eyes and hugged herself, crying into her knees. Enji's eyes travelled onto the kettle and puddle of water on the floor and he put two and two together. His wife had tried to harm his prized possession but he had been pulled out of the way just in time.
Sighing, Enji walked towards his wife and began to drag her away. Rei thrashed and kicked but he didn't let her go. The number two hero forced his wife into the car before making a call to the hospital. He stared angrily at Rei as she banged against the window, pleading to be let out. After hanging up the call, Enji got into the car and drove away, leaving behind the two twins to simply watch as their father took away their mother.
