Chapter 16

A/n: Spoiler for Season 6 for anyone who hasn't watched it. It's not that big of a spoiler tbh, it's just that I refer to Bakugou as his hero name that is revealed in Season 6. Also, how's everyone doing?

"We should act like this is real," Kaminari said as they made their way to the arena.

"Like the villains are actually villains and vice versa?" Hagakure asked.

"Precisely," Kaminari replied.

"That seems like a fun idea."

"I like it."

"Me to."

Both class A and B agreed to this idea. Their teachers didn't really care. However, they did care about who won. They had cast bets on which team they thought would win and were itching to find out whether they were going to lose or gain some money.

Shoto stood still in the dimly lit room and read the rules of the game. They were quite simple: for heroes to win they must capture as many villains as they can, for villains to win they must hit the targets of as many heroes as they can and whoever has the most on their team when the timer runs out or defeats all members of the opposing team wins.

Afterwards, Shoto put on his costume before sitting down and waiting. After what felt like forever, he heard Present Mic tell them that they should make their way to the tubes so they can be taken up to the arena.

Shoto took in a deep breath.

He began to pray that he had good members on his team.

He began to think about the water fight he had with his siblings and smiled.

He began to reassure himself that it would be just like that and he had nothing to worry about.

Shoto exhaled slowly.

Startled, Shoto pressed his hands against the sides of the tubes to steady himself as he felt himself move upwards a bit faster than an elevator would and he shielded his eyes from a light that beamed down onto him. As he emerged from the ground he slowly took his hand away from his eyes and jumped back immediately when he saw someone was about to attack him. Shoto got into a fighting stance and the two fought. Shoto's opponent had punched him hard and he was sent flying into a wall. However before they could finish him off, Shoto trapped them in an ice dome.

"The hero team has secured their first victory!" Present Mic shouted.

Shoto watched as some robots came and took away the boy who he didn't know so he assumed he was from Class B. When the robots were out of sight, Shoto took some time to take in where he was. The place looked identical to Hosu city. Cautiously, Shoto began to explore more and felt comforted in the familiarity of the city even though it wasn't the real deal.

She ran through the corridor and laughed as the heroes chased after her.

"Run, run, as fast as you can heroes, you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread woman!" She snickered as she turned a corner. She then came to an abrupt stop when she saw it was a dead end.
