Chapter 21

"I could barely see you guys from up here," Dabi bellowed as he made his presence known, "You all look like ants."

"Dabi," Endeavour sneered.

"Please Dabi is just an alias, I have a more respectable name you know," The scarred man pours a liquid on his head that turns his hair from black to white, "call me Touya."

Endeavour, Shoto and Izuku look at the villain shocked. It was impossible. Touya was dead, Izuku had watched him die right in front of him.

"What a funny joke Dabi," Izuku shouts sarcastically, "who are you really!"

"Zuzu," Dabi says softly, his grin turning into a small frown, "don't you recognise your big brother?"

"Don't call me that!" Izuku snaps.

All Endeavour could do was watch in horror as Izuku and his alleged oldest argued but Enji knew that was his son. He could tell by his eyes, there was a great fire lit behind his eyes that nothing could quench.

"Dad, get up," Shoto shook Endeavour, "please my friends, you need to protect them."

"I agree Sho, come on Dad get up," Dabi said mockingly, he stretched out his palm, smiling, "and come dance with me in hell."

Setting his palm alight, Dabi moved to attack Endeavour who was quickly protected by Izuku. Shoto joined the ongoing battle and the two banded together to fight Dabi.

"Why are you doing this!" Izuku screamed as he threw flames in the shape of daggers at Dabi.

"Because why not!"

"Why didn't you come home!" Shoto yelled as he deflected an incoming fireball.

"I did! But my death didn't change anything," Dabi screeched as the flames he had erupted from his hands grew bigger, "he still mercilessly trained you guys like animals and after all that he gets to be number one. No. Not as long as I'm breathing."

Gritting his teeth, Shoto created a sword from fire and charged at Dabi while Izuku glared angrily at Endeavour.

"No, you don't get to do this, not now," Izuku grabbed his father by his shoulder and shook him, "you have no right to be having a pity party while we clean up your mistakes."

The youngest Todoroki gestured to the battle field around him, "Look around dad, everyone is fighting tirelessly and you're here having a mental breakdown over your dead son!"

Dragging him up from the ground, Izuku brought his father to his eye level.

"You have no right to feel sorry for yourself, not after what you did, what happened to atoning, huh?"

Izuku points to Shoto fighting Dabi, "This Endeavour, this is the only way for you to achieve true atonement."

Determination flowed through Endeavour as he launched himself at Dabi, tackling him to the ground. Izuku smiled proudly as he aided his father and brother in the fight against Dabi.

In the end, Dabi managed to escape alongside Shigaraki. Endeavour stared absentmindedly outside his hospital window and started to weep. He was so pathetic, he couldn't even defeat his own son. The door to his hospital room creaked open and he turned to see Izuku and Shoto looking at him shocked. He calls out their names just as Shoto slams the door shut.

The door opens again and Rei walks in with a solemn look on her face.

"Enji"

"Rei"

"You have to defeat Touya."

"Dabi," Izuku corrects her, "Touya is dead, that man is not Touya."

Rei sighs and smiles softly at her youngest, "We created that monster Enji, we mustn't let out children deal with the consequences of our actions."

"Rei," Enji says softly.

"So please I beg of you, no matter how you do it, save Touya."

A/n: So basically this is the end. I know it's short and a bit lackluster but I honestly didn't know how to write the ending until now and didn't wanna leave you guys on a cliffhanger. I hope you enjoyed the other chapters in this book though. Thank you for reading.
