Kelley's Pov
"What the hell even is mid terms who came up with that?" I held back a quiet chuckle that was eager to leave my lips pressing myself further to sit on top of the table. The sun had decided it was the day were it was blazing like hell on earth, glancing around the table Trevor had his head laying near where my leg was skimming through a large book, all his hair was pulled into a loose bun away from his view sight.

Sara had all her hair pulled into a tight ponytail digging aggressively through one of her bags whining every so often leaving the loudest whine to come from Caleb who was playing with his lip piercing mindlessly.  Looking around the entire outer area of our cafeteria, It mainly was the spot where you could eat outside on really nice days like today.

"It's called mid term to determine how much you've learned from the semester." I said through my light laughter taking a sip from my water bottle, gesturing towards Trevor who was still very much lost into his book. "He's studying right now as we speak." I yelped through my laughter feeling his palm roughly slapped at my leg hearing him grunt as he lifted his head up shutting the book close.

"Fuck you, I'll admit that I may have fallen asleep through a few lessons recently." He dismissed it with a quick wave of his hand, folding his arms leaning back in his chair to glance between Sara and Caleb as well, gesturing with his head at them.

"What's got you all worried about mid terms?" Caleb whined dramatically as he shoved a piece of paper quickly towards Sara who caught it quickly shooting him a quick glare of annoyance as she scanned her own eyes over it.

"Damn how are you even passing? You have all c's and d's." She gestured with a chuckle at the report card handing it back over to him.

"I get by-  but that's not the point! My mom said I had to get at least three a's usually she doesn't give a shit so I wonder what's going on." Sara casually shoved her bag down quickly into the table as she exclaimed out through her laughter.

"You have three awesome friends who can tutor you." Trevor had the quickest look of disbelief as he exclaimed out over her excitement.

"Are you insane?! I barely need to study on my own! Mid terms is in two weeks." I rolled my eyes playfully at the sudden bickering between everyone drinking more water. My friends were wild ones that's for sure. They could get loud over the most random things. I was so intune to thoughts, I would say I was the most close to Trevor since we hung out a lot not just because of school but because of my job as well which meant we had more chances to bond.

I would say Caleb I was second closest with if he wasn't asking me to help him with illegal drug making, and Sara it was just slightly awkward we tolerated one another she just had a block in front of her. "Hey?" I blinked turning my head to focus on him seeing him flash me a smile.

"Oh did you guys stop bickering finally." I joked watching him click his tongue roughly against his inner cheek folding his arms over his chest once more through the thin material of his black and grey t shirt.

"For now yes, are you up for studying at my house on Thursday? Caleb freaking out, slightly has me freaking out as well."

"It's not my fault! It's the school systems fault for teaching!" Trevor rolled his eyes deeply chewing on his gum more rough like looking away from the two others.

"It wouldn't be hard if you focused you know."

"Like I'd to listen to you, when you ditch class to go smoke with Troy Sanders in his fucked up car."

"Fuck you!" I held back a small snort turning back to face the male nodding my head gently.

"Sure why not. I don't work on Thursday. Wanna meet after school?" He nodded a few times the strands of his hair flying out from the bun.

"I'll drive, since I'm finally off punishment dad gave me my keys back." I gave him a look of sympathy gently rubbing at his head which he leaned into slowly accepting the hug I gave him, burying his head on my stomach with a groan.

"Don't think I can last the rest of the school year. I'm so exhausted." I weakly chuckled rubbing at the back of his neck a few times with the tips of my fingers as I bathed in the sun with ease.

"Well I like to say we are only juniors one more year to go." Caleb let the loudest gasp of disbelief as he whipped his head up to stare at me quickly.

"Why did you have to remind me that we have one more year of this hell hole! Ugh I'm not gonna survive either." Trevor kept his head in place on my stomach the remainder of lunch was quite spent with loud whines and laughter shared between us all as we all bonded over one thing we all despised more then anything. School, but who didn't like school, it was a such a teenage thing to hate.
