Chapter 3 Truth to Life

(y/n) pov:

I was in the attic. My dad was downstairs while my brother and mom went to a baseball camp for a few days. I was looking something interesting to pass the time and hoped I could learn more stuff. I then saw a bow that says Christmas decorations.

(y/n): I wonder what is in there

I liked seeing decorative stuff. Then I accentually hit a box and it dropped.

(y/n): shit

I was going to put it away until I saw the side said old stuff. I got curious of it. I opened and saw old stuff indeed. It was stuff that my dad had in his younger years like his high school and college books. It was funny pictures of him.

Then I saw an old journal. I got curious and started reading it. I found out more how day got his job. The stuff he put was interesting. I was going to put it away until I saw something that caught my eye. He said he went to a bar and met a woman. He said he had a one-night stand with her. I was bit upset but realized it was before he met mom, so it went away. I kept going to make sure until... that woman came up again. I read more and dropped the journal once I finished that part.

I read. I think and think. It all made sense. My dad... lied to me about what I really am. I felt anger in my whole body. I got the journal and stomped to him. He was on the couch and looked at me.

(d/n): (y/n) how are you...

I threw the journal in front of him. He looked at it and turned a smile to a shocked face.

(y/n): I was going to through the attic for stuff and found that Damn journal. YOU LIED TO ME! MOM ISN'T MY BIRTH MOM! I AM THE FUCKING DEVIL'S SON!!!

He was silent and looked defeated.

No one pov:

(d/n) told his story to (y/n). (y/n) was starting to understand on why he did but was still confused.

(y/n): why did just take me and left?

(d/n): I was scared. I was scared that something would happen to you if you were with her. I didn't want you to be... you know what I mean.

(y/n): okay, I see what you mean

(d/n): when I hold you the first time, I felt love for you. I loved being with you and being in your life. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you and had to lie. I just wanted to protect you.

Timeskip years:

(y/n) forgave him and just took a few days to do it and relax more. (d/n) decided he will not lie to (y/n) anymore. (y/n) figured out how to shapeshift like his mom and didn't trim his horns or hide his other features like he did before. His horns were all grown after he stopped for over a month. He went to college. After, he starts his own conglomerate company that was fit for multiple categories in the market. It did sales of all kinds like food, furniture, automobiles, and more. It was also a shipping company of its own. The company also makes products along with developing better products and inventions than other companies. Nobody else in the company knows that products made by them have tiny scribes to make them better than other products. It was named Corvinus Enterprises and (y/n) was one of the richest people in the mortal world and had learn of his magic and scribes along knowing all of his natural powers from being Lucifer's son.
