Leah's POV
Thursday 10:15 PM
I've been hiding in the room for a few hours now. I am so embarrassed I don't know how I'm going to face everyone. I know I owe Jordon an apology but I don't know what to say to him.
I take up my phone and dial his number.
"Yes?" He answers and I can't read his tone.
"Where are you?" I ask.
"In my room," he answers but says nothing more.
"Ok, bye," I say and end the call.
I take some deep breaths and leave the room, walking the short distance to Jubba's room. I knock on the door but he doesn't answer or open it.
I knock again then open the door, I enter the room and he's sitting on the sofa in the corner of the room looking at me.
"Hi," I say and close the door but I don't lock it.
"Mhmm" is all he says.
"I owe you an apology, I'm sorry for how I've been acting and I'm sorry for hurting you," I say.
"A fool yuh tek mi fah enuh Leah and dats why mi no fuck wid dem relationship shit yah. How yuh tink mi feel fi see woman a fight my woman over a next man?" He asks and I don't know what to say.
"Jordon I'm not with Ethan, we're just friends. How was I to know that Tricia would attack me over foolishness?" I ask and he kisses his teeth.
"Leah I had an issue with it but you never cared. You were having fun messing with my heart but that stops now. Mi cyaan deh wid someone who's going to embarrass me like you did tonight," he says, making my heart beat fast.
"I'm sorry Jordon, I really am. I should have dealt with the matter differently, I should have spoken to you about it, I messed up," I confess.
"A little too late for that Leah, mi no see dis a work and mi no waan nobody a embarrass mi," he says and I can't hold back the tears.
"Ok, I understand," I say and turn to exit the room.
"Lock d door and galang a yuh fucking bed, yuh too torment, Tricia shoulda buss yuh ass," he says and laughs out loud.
I turn around and use my hands to wipe the tears from my eyes.
"That's not funny Jordon," I say.
"Yuh lucky, stop d crying," he says and gets up from the chair and goes into the bathroom.
"Sit on the bed Leah," he instructs as he comes out of the bathroom. I do as he says and he sits beside me.
He turns my face to him and I spin my body to face him.
"Look pon yuh face," he kisses his teeth and opens a small jar with a white creamy substance in it. He uses his finger to take up some and starts rubbing it on the left side of my face where Tricia slapped me.
"Yuh fi remember seh yuh red and the least likkle mark show pon yuh skin. Yuh fi keep yuh rass quiet bout yuh a fight over man," he says and I sigh.
"I was defending myself, I wasn't fighting over Ethan," I counter, and he kisses his teeth once more.
"Come gwaan a yuh bed Leah," he says and gets up off the bed.
"Here or in the other room?" I query and he turns and looks at me.
"Yuh tink mi did a joke when mi seh last night was the last night?" He says and I pull my dress from over my head. I take off my bra and thong and walk over to the closet to get one of his shirts.
