Friday 6:15 PM

We drive up to Alex's and park in the yard, I help Leah climb down and head inside. We walk into the backyard, everyone is sitting and lyming.

The entire family is here including Lilli, Anthony, Grandma Joy, all the top guards that live on the grounds, there's a man that I've never met and a girl that seems familiar.

Shan is the first to see us and she screams out resulting in everyone cheering and clapping, dem extra yuh fuck.

"Shanya yuh cyaan walk?" Alex shouts at her as she rushes over to us.

"Yuh ago mek d Boss kill yuh enuh," I hug her, and she kisses her teeth.

"I'm trying enuh but sometimes I forget that I'm not my old self," she grins and pulls Leah away from me.

I walk over to where Alex, Dane and Ethan are sitting around a table drinking.

"Dane yuh chat too much," I say before he even opens his mouth, and they roar with laughter.

"Mi no seh nothing Dawg," he holds up his hands in surrender.

"Mi no think yuh supposed to have anything else to say after yuh cuss mi off," I sit down and open my beer.

"Well, it worked so I'm proud of myself," he brags and I roll my eyes.

"Babe," Kim says as she walks over to us holding the baby.

"Hey Jubba," she greets me.

"Wah gwaan Sis," I respond and stand to kiss her cheek.

"Babe, he's not going back to sleep, I need a break, once I have him he finds my breast and I'm tired, hold him," she complains.

"Mi know the attraction," Dane says, making us laugh.

"Dane mi serious, tek yuh pickney," she says.

"Jubba just come, mek him hold him, mi cook all evening, mi tired," Kim rolls her eyes, hands the baby to me and quickly walks away.

"Hey my namesake, I'm your favourite uncle, I'm the fun one, mi ago teach yuh bout dem girls," I talk to the baby.

I'm trying to figure out who he looks like, more look like a darker version of Kim but he looks like he'll be tall like Dane.

"Handsome like me", I say to Dane.

"As long as him no stress mi out like yuh, mi good," he says and I laugh out loud.

"All wah a gwaan is Boss and Omar gi yuh d most trouble," I reply, and he kisses his teeth.

"No, hands down it's you, yuh born fi gi problem," Alex says while looking at Shan.

"Dawg yuh cyaan stop watch Shan? She deh right over deh so, she good," I tease, and he turns to look at me.

"Mi want har fi siddung, she just all over d pussyclaat place and if mi seh nothing now yuh hear how mi a bully," he kisses his teeth.

"But she's with Lilli Boss, mi sure she woulda say something if there was cause for concern, stop worry," I encourage, and he sighs.

"So a Jess cousin dat?" I ask as I look at the girl sitting with Lilli, Germs and Tricia.

"Leah might know wah fi do wid yuh," Dane says and gulps his beer.

I take a good look at the girl, she's average height, light-skinned, she has in braids, she's pretty and sexy but not my kind of curvy, she no match up to Suzie. She looks so fucking familiar though.
