Saturday 4:00 PM

"Wah yuh a do yah?" I grin and ask Germs as he walks into my hospital room.

"Move no Alex," he says making Alex laugh as he gets up from the chair next to my bed giving Germs access to me. He comes over and hugs me then starts kissing me all over my face and I giggle.

"Shanny yuh know yuh av mi a Jamaica a dead, wah mi niece a gwaan wid?" he asks and rubs his hand over my belly and Lexi moves.

"Ha! Woiii yuh see dat Alex, she love mi!" He shouts and we laugh.

"Yuh fool enuh, weh Kadi?" I ask as he rubs my belly making Lexi very active.

"She up a d hall," he says as he grins at my belly.

"Why yuh never bring har?" I question.

"She av school Shanny," he responds, and I roll my eyes.

"Jermaine, yuh still a fuck Gabby?" I query and he turns to look at Alex.

"Mi out yah so, unu nah mix mi," Alex says and I know that he knows something.

I repeat the question as soon as Alex leaves the room and all he does is grin.

"You said you were going to stop, Kadi is a good girl and you shouldn't do that to her," I state.

"Shanny stop play hypocrite, mi hear Kadi pon d phone a chat to d man from Clarendon, obviously wi no exclusive and mi nah play house wid nobody," he sits in the chair.

"Lawd, mi no suppose fi tell yuh but mi ago tell yuh so yuh can get some perspective and yuh try no mention it else mi a shoot yuh," I point my finger at him and he laughs.

"She and him no deh, him breed a next girl and she lef him but him a try offa har. She wasn't giving you the time of day initially because she's not one to cheat but when that happened, she decided that she was going to give you a chance.

She's embarrassed so I'm guessing that's why she hasn't said anything to you but they're not together. Kadi a good gyal and watch how yuh ago fuck it up," I kiss my teeth.

"All she affi do is ask mi fi kill d fool enuh," he says, and we laugh.

"Seriously Jermaine, stop dealing with Gabby because Kadi doesn't do second chances when it comes to infidelity," I share.

"Mi ago tek one more fuck offa it and then mi done," he states and I roll my eyes.

"What is it about this girl?" I ask because he seems caught up.

"Mi feel like she get mi, she deh pon my level and she no pressure mi, wi just link and fuck and dats it. Wid Kadi now, mi just feel like seh mi no good enough fi har, she have her life well plan out, she almost done her degree and mi just a start Sis, mi feel inadequate sometimes," he shares and I squeeze his hand.

"Hey, you are not inadequate and anyone who doesn't see your worth isn't deserving of you. My husband thinks you're pretty impressive and he's hard to please, I know how smart you are, everybody in our circle respects you. You are going places and you have our support.

Yes, you're starting later but you're starting and that's all that matters and you are going to be great. Kadian would be a fool not to see the catch that you are and I know she's no fool, just remember little old me when you make it big," I say and he laughs out loud.

"Thanks, Shanny, mi mind just stray sometimes and mi wonder if mi good enough fi a girl like her but mi ago do better. Might tek a last knock offa Gabby still, gyal baddi well nice," he says and moves back when I slap after him.
