we all walked around with brent for a while and messed around. we grabbed some of the sleds from the back of the van and started to race each other down the hill. once we had thoroughly tried to injure each other brent brought us up to the brothel. after a quick walkthrough when we made our way through each of the buildings, each one complete with its own stories and pieces of history. by the time we were done it had gotten dark out and elton brought out the sleds again. after a while we went into the church to mess around while trying to warm up. elton took the stage and started off with an improv poem. after he was done, he sent matt up on stage. somehow everything that matt does, it ends with him stripping.

"i think you might be the first person to strip in this church"

"its an honor"

"imagine just looking over at these random people in your town to see one of them shirtless in your church"

"that'd be my kind of church"

"lillith!"

"what? i have a name to live up to"

the guys laughed and we eventually moved onto getting a quick tour of the grinch tunnel. we didn't go too far inside of it, but just enough to get a real understanding of just how big the mining system is. once we made our way out of it brent led us over to the bunkhouse. in his mind this is the best place for us to leave our bags and sleep for the night. as the guys were setting up their things, elton pulled me aside with evan.

"do you have a black dress?"

"do i have a black dres- yes elton. why?"

"that story about the bunkhouse, theres a women in black thats see here. i want to prank the guys"

"just say when"

he smiled and we walked back over to the rest of the group, brent waiting to show us the last part of the bunkhouse. as we followed him down the hall my attention was caught by smaller, short shadows. i looked at corbin who clearly hadnt seen them. maybe all of the late nights are finally getting to me. we made it to the last bedroom in the building, where i suddenly felt very sad.

"so there used to be a closet here and inside it there were these big trunks. so two kids climbed inside and fell asleep. when they were sleeping the lid closed, causing them to suffocate"

"oh god"

"so we have to keep and eye out for a lady in a black dress and two kids"

brent nodded. as we finished up talking about the spirits here, brent left us on our own. i saw the shadows again and everything made sense. the little kids are the ones i saw in the hallway. i sat down on the bed and watched as elton grabbed the cat balls and placed them next to me.

"what are you doing with those?"

"someone is gonna lay on the bed and we'll place the balls around them to see if there's someone here"

everyone looked at matt and he immediately freaked out. he tried to back out but corbin blocked him in.

"no, im not doing it"

"why not? nothing is gonna happen to you"

"no, a demon is gonna crawl inside of me thats whats gonna happen"

"you act like you won't like it"

"shhh"

matt sat on the bed and the guys set the cat balls all around him.

"im not "doing this"

"will you do it if someone stays with you?"

"maybe"
