we finished up our investigation and went down to the lobby to meet up with the others. before we did anything else we debriefed about what we experienced.

"why don't you guys go first?"

"yeah, uh lets go in order of what we caught first i guess"

"so, i picked up on a male energy and kept hearing the name bobby"

"we eventually went into elisa lam's first room, and thats where i really experienced things"

"lillith is definitely more in tune with the spirit world, she talked to someone without using equipment"

"what?"

"yeah, she kept zoning out and saying things that none of us felt"

"this isn't new you guys"

"you mean we've had a medium with us the entire time?"

"i guess so, i just thought it was normal"

"normal?"

"yeah, i've talked about it before. leading you guys to rooms with more activity or telling you what kind of equipment to use"

elton looked at me, a smile creeping onto his face. i shook my head at him and took a sip of my water. 

"what did you experience in elsia's room?"

"i felt really sad, and i could like see a woman with black hair walking towards a window, climbing out of it and up a ladder. it was like she was forced to do it"

"wow, so maybe she was forced to go to the roof and was killed that way"

"but that doesn't add up because it was just her in the cctv footage"

"maybe something spiritual possessed her to do it. no one knows"

"thats part of the reason the case is unsolved"

we all nodded in agreement as elton began to talk about what he and his group experienced. it felt like we were being watched, like they wanted to be apart of the group. i moved over slightly, creating some room in between me and corbin. out of the corner of my eye i saw a women in white walking over to us. when i turned around to see if she was still there, all that was left was a faint white mist. i focused back in on the conversation and when we had finished talking about everything, we said goodbye to linda and zacharia. we were all standing by the reception desk, except matt who had walked off again.

"i really appreciate you guys coming out and investigating with us"

"be safe guys, goodluck tonight. im glad im leaving thats all im saying"

just as linda and zacharia started to leave matt yelled as he once again sprayed hand sanitizer everywhere. i looked at matt with a confused face, who just smiled back at me.

"wait, uh you guys have to check out. did you get the uh, the sheets? the papers?"

"where is your shirt? are you naked?"

"i was doing some uh house cleaning"

"oh ok"

the two of them wrote their names down on the paper while matt just stood there starting at the camera, sending it a wink after a while.

"did you ever put your shirt back on after you didn't get picked for our team?"

"no, i was shirtless the entire time"

"so he was with you guys, shirtless?"

"yeah, i think that might be why bobby liked him so much"

"thank you for staying this evening at the cecil hotel"
