the flight went by pretty fast. i spent most of it editing a video for elton with matt's head on my shoulder. i decided to let him sleep but when the wheels touched down on the tarmac he woke up and grabbed my hand out of panic. we sat in silence for a bit until the pilot made an announcement for us to start off-boarding.

"can i have my hand back?"

"what?"

"you're holding my hand"

he looked down at our hands and let go of it, smiling nervously.

"sorry"

"you good?"

"i- uh sure"

"that was very believable"

"what am i supposed to say?"

"i don't know, but i didn't think you were scared of flying"

"i didn't know either"

"well, now i know your scared of ghosts and flying"

i smiled at him as i started to pack up all of my things. matt and i stuck together up until the drop off area outside.

"alright, bye matt. ill see you next week or so for your show right?"

"yep, it was good seeing you again. we can meet up a little bit before the show and have drinks or something if you'd like"

"sounds good"

i turned around and saw my uber pull up.

"i gotta go"

"bye lillith"

i got inside it and lowered my window so i could talk to him one last time.

"see you for drinks"

i winked at him as the uber drove off. a bit later matt sent me a text with some more information about his shows. it was nice to know that i had another person to hangout with outside of jake and the guys. when i got to my apartment i started some laundry and ordered some takeout so i could really just enjoy being home. i think this is the best time to do research and figure out how to protect myself better from spirits when i eventually return to filming.

--time skip 11 months into the future--

the break may of been a little bit longer than i intended. to be fair the guys took a break from filming TFIL videos which added to my time away from being on camera. i spent that time getting more in touch with myself and my spiritual ability. i was able to get tattoos that i've been dreaming of getting along with more piercings. as time went on matt and i started to hangout more and we eventually started dating. this time off really served as a way for me to connect with patti and learn how to channel the spirits to better. becoming more open to the idea of connecting to someone across the veil is both excited and terrifying at the same time. as patti put it, finding myself makes me more available for communication, so do what helps you become comfortable.

as if i haven't spent enough money on tattoos and clothes i made an appointment to get a new one. a while back i saw a picture of a sword and immediately wanted it as a tattoo. i walked into the shop and smiled at mackey.

"hey!"

"you're back already?"

"yeah, i have a new idea"

"oh boy"

"its good i promise"

"alright, sit down"

i sat down in her consultation chair and showed her the picture and then where i wanted it. after a bit of talking, i moved onto the table and she began prepping the space. she got done with the transfer and the placement and began the process when matt called me.
