ghosted

we stayed in the main room and had elton and corey talk about their experiences in the room. a little after three, evan and i went upstairs to grab matt while jonah stayed to finish filming elton and corey. once we were all downstairs they did a final recap with matt before filming the outro. overall bally gally castle wasn't super active, there were spirits here but they were no where near interested in talking with us. we finished cleaning up our equipment and set up the air mattresses to sleep for the night. while matt got it set-up for us i went to the bathroom and changed into pajamas and took off my makeup. when i got back into the main room matt was laying in bed on his phone. i got in next to him and laid down, finally relaxing. matt put his phone down and rolled over, pulling me into his arms.

"im sorry for how i acted this morning at the hotel"

"i am too"

"you don't have anything to be sorry about. i know colby and i know that you two are friends"

 "its ok matt. we were both exhausted from travelling and i know i didn't sleep well"

"yeah, but i had no reason to get mad. i was just being a dick for no reason"

he moved his hand up to my face and turned my head just enough so he could kiss me. elton walked into the room and turned the lights on, causing us to end the kiss. corey was following behind him holding the cat balls from upstairs. as he was walking past us he dropped one and it landed near the head of our air mattress. i watched as a child-like spirit walked up to it and tried to pick it up causing it to turn on and flash. i looked at the guys who were all freaking out about it going off. after they calmed down and picked it up, we all eventually went to bed.

around seven i woke up to elton's alarm going off. i tried to get up but matt's arm was resting on my waist. i slowly lifted it up and grabbed some clothes from my bag before going over to the bathroom to change. as i was changing there was a knock on the door, so when i finished i opened it to see no one standing there. i stuck my head through the doorway and didn't see any spirits around either.

"guys?"

"yeah?"

"did one of you just knock on the bathroom door?"

"nope"

"i didn't"

"im still in bed"

"odd, ok nevermind"

"you sure?"

"yeah, im good"

i shut the bathroom door again and finished getting ready. after about an hour we got into the van and drove to dublin where elton had booked a couple rooms for the night. when the drive was over matt and i went to our room to take a quick nap before we got to planning the next investigation. as soon as we got to our room i dropped my bag and laid down in the bed, almost instantly falling asleep. at some point i woke up and decided to try and stay up so my sleep schedule wasn't completely messed up. i grabbed my phone and scrolled on instagram for a bit before i realized i had a dm from someone. i opened it because the name was familiar. it was a girl named victoria who told me that her and matt had hooked up a couple months ago, and that she needed to tell me because she saw that we were supposedly engaged. i read that message over and over again, trying to figure out some way to say that it wasn't true, but i couldn't think of anything. 

matt was currently out of the room but he left his phone on the nightstand. i grabbed it, opened it, and went straight to his texts, tapping on the name vic. i saw the messages from yesterday and then scrolled to see older conversations. everything that victoria said was true. they did hook up, while we were dating. i put everything back to the way it was before getting up, grabbing my bags and walking down to elton and corey's room. i stood in the hallway and knocked on it, corey opening it almost immediately. he smiled at first but looked down and saw my bags and instantly went into confusion.
