On the western border of the country lies Alien Headquarters, a sort of apartment for the invaders. The whole population hasn’t arrived yet; they had set the condition to the invaders to kill every human living there to take the territory as their own. It stood facing a river that flowed from its origin in the South Hills. There, on the topmost peak, stood an abandoned temple. A young boy sat at the steps of it, eating a few berries. His grey hair complimented his cat-like eyes, making him look like a lynx. He looked over the beautiful hills at the building and sighed. It was the inhabitants of that building who made him live like this. The aliens had erased humans off the Earth, no one was left. The boy was certain that he was the only human alive, but he couldn’t help but hope for some company. The boy got up from the steps and entered the temple. It was a complete disaster inside. Bits of stone and wood littered the floor. Many pillars have fallen and most of the sculptures were chipped and broken. He didn't complain, for it was where he stayed. He had taken up refuge here because of the aliens. They had got his whole family, and he was the only one who survived. The aliens had set fire to their house. No amount of water was enough to put it out. Remembering the river,  he had promised to come back with its water to put out the fire, but returned to see his home in a huddle of ash. The aliens had come after him, and he ran up to the hills for safety. His name was Min Yoongi.

Yoongi sat on the pillar for a while, not knowing what to do. He had enough food already, so he couldn’t hunt in the forest for more. The hills were silent due to the absence of chirruping birds, and that is what Yoongi loved most of the scenery. Thinking that he’ll just take a walk, Yoongi exited the temple to the hilly grasslands.

It was much quieter and peaceful to look at. The dried trees, bushes and grass all played well to Yoongi’s advantage : they provided good cover from the aliens and they gave aesthetic value as well. Yoongi sat on a fallen tree trunk facing the barren landscape, trying to visualise what it might look like if the aliens hadn’t come. He just sat staring at the plain when he saw someone collapse by the river. Curious, Yoongi ran down the hill and downstream. What he saw surprised him. A boy, whose hands were bound by thorns cutting into his skin, was lying unconscious near the riverbank. Yoongi went close to him and tried to feel a pulse. He tried for a surprisingly long time (the thorns hid most of the boy’s wrists) but finally felt it. Yoongi then decided to carry him back up the hill and keep him there, at least till he woke up.
