The next morning I woke up to some sweet morning kisses on my nape. I giggled at the ticklish feeling that it was creating. "Rebe stop it, it tickles." I said. "Good morning babe! I want to stay like this all day. It feels like paradise." She said between the kisses as she turned me. Even though I was having a little problem in turning but I did. I caressed her cheeks and kissed her palm that was placed on my cheeks. "But babe we have school and we have to go today as we have a test today, remember?" I said while getting up from the bed. "Yeah, yeah nerd we have to go." She replied with taunting tone and also a pout in addition. "You lazy ass if we don't leave before my uncle and aunt comes, then I can guarantee you that today you will die in their hands." I added with a faux smile. After freshening up I grabbed some granola bars that I had bought few days back and dragged Rebecca towards her car. As I munched on the bars we both took a seat in her second hand Chevrolet. You must be confused about my dark eye, well I applied a bit of concealer and it was hidden. After all it was not that bad.

As we entered the school I was attacked by a bear hug from my "favourite friend" Carla. She pulled out and kissed my cheeks. "Don't fume in anger bitch. She is my bestie and I can do anything with her." She taunted Rebe. "But you can't make her feel pure nirvana in bed right?" Rebe replied with a smirk making me blush. "Ew, you're so gross Rebe" Carla said scrunching her nose in disgust. "Stop teasing each other you both. We should now head to class we have a Geography test today and you don't want to anger Mrs Jospeh. So let's just hurry." I said interrupting their quarrel. They agreed with me and we headed towards the class.

I returned home and to my surprise the house was filled with the same joy and happiness that was there during the presence of my parents. As I opened the door little children came and hugged my legs. They were my Mexican maternal cousins. "Sobrina, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la última vez que te vi. (Niece, it has been a long time since i last saw you.) How have you been, mija?" Aunt Camila asked me while engulfing me in a bear hug. "I'm fine Tía. Cómo están todos ustedes, de vuelta en México? (How are you all doing, back in Mexico?) How is Abuelo (Grandfather) and Abuela (Grandmother) doing?" I attacked her with my questions. She chuckles before answering, "They all are fine mija." I pick up Miguel and ruffle his hair. "Primo deténgalo o lo lamentará! (Cousin stop it or you will be sorry!)" Miguel protests with a pout. I kissed his head then put him down and excused myself to my room. After freshening up and applying a little bit of concealer to hide my black eye, I went to the kitchen where my aunt was. "Don't dare to say anything to them about what we do to you. If you say anything to them you will be sorry." She said and I nodded. I came out with a bottle of water and a fake bright smile on my face that I had on my face last year. I sat down with my Mexican relative and played Lotería.

It was time for them to go they had come here for some work and thus came to give me a visit. That night they had their flight back to Mexico. They hugged me and Aunt Camilla engulfed me in her famous bear hug. I bid them goodbye and went to my room without any eye contact with my aunt and uncle. You all must be confused on how many aunts and uncles I have. Well the ones who I stay with are my paternal uncle and her wife, they are from the Willis family, while the ones who came were my maternal aunt and her husband, and they are from the Lopez family. So I am half Mexican and half British. I texted Rebe about the states of my wounds and bruises. Then I opened my book and continued from where I had stopped.

Author note: I know this song doesn't even match with this story, but as I was watching the movie Coco I got an idea of making my character half Mexican. This chapter is a little less darker than the others for the cameo of Sam's Mexican family. So to lighten up the mood I attached this song. Also this is one of my favourite songs. Hope you will enjoy it.
