✨ Skylar ✨
I was now walking down the hall crowded with students wearing Palmwood High's uniform.
After Caleb's long, long lecture about not telling anyone about us being step siblings and making sure Oliver knew where to go, I ran my ass to the school building for seniors.
I don't really mind not telling people since it's none of their beezwax, but when push comes to shove, I'll make an exception.
So far people have glanced at me, realised that I'm a new face, studied me from head to toe before going back to their conversations with their friends. It didn't really make me uncomfortable since I would've done the same out of curiosity and I feel like I'm a good looking bitch so it's cool.
As I embark on the journey to find my locker I pass by a group of people standing in a semi circle talking and laughing so loud that everyone around them would glance at them with annoyance at least once or twice.
And I swear one of those girl's laugh sounds like that bitch from Barbie of Swan Lake. Y'all know who I'm talking about.
In the middle of the circle stood a beautiful girl with light auburn hair and a bright smile on her face. She said something that lead to all the girls laughing obnoxiously loud and all the guys that look like they took steroids to hang on her every word.
Oh so she's one of those.
Probably loves the attention but swears she doesn't. Said she doesn't like that guy just to have a rumour be spread around that they're actually something the next day. I've seen it all at my old school, it's nothing new.
I couldn't stop my nose from rolling up just a tad in irritation before relaxing my facial features again.
I heard that blue-eyed monster's voice greeting the same people I walked past which made me move a little bit faster. I couldn't help but glance back just to see how different he could act in the company of his friends.
To say there was a difference was an understatement, he was a whole other person. He was doing that weird bro hug thing with a blonde guy with a big smile on his face. He then laughed at something the same blonde guy said, hell even Levi looked like he was having the time of his life.
The scene kinda made me feel uncomfortable and depressed in my heart. Was it so bad being in the same room as me and my brother, to the point of not being able to even force out a smile out of a little kindness?
Emerald green clashed with Dodger blue as we caught each other's eyes. His smile stiffened and a small frown formed between his eyebrows.
He looked at me like I was something that destroyed his life which made my lips form into a mocking smile.
I gave him a two-finger salute before turning my head to look in front of me again. I shook of the uncomfortable and angry feeling his stare gave me.
It's none of my business anyways.
