A Brother's love

After the Carai Tribe arrived at the new home Lura were happy to see her Father and Sister again after so long. Scarlett smiled at the sight and were happy that they got reuinited again and get to live together in this place.

But that smile quickly faded when she thought back to the things She been through before she left her hometown. Xander recongnized the look on her face and knew what she is thinking about right now.

He walked over to her and said to her. "Hey Lett... Everything alright?" She lookes at her Brother and said with a thoughtful look on her face. "Just... Thinking about those days..."

Xander lookes at her and said. "Want to talk about it?" She nooded her head and said to him. "I think I really need that right now..." They went to sit down at the tree and Scarlett said while looking at the flowers.

"Xander... What do you remember before I got this curse?" Xander thought for a momment and said to her. "Well... Mother and Father were happy and smiled when ever you sat in front of the fireplace and read the Fox and the Hunter."

Scarlett rememberd reading that book and said with a small smile. "I remember loving that book very much... I never got tired of reading it..."

Xander chuckled a little and said to her. "Yeah... You even loved the illustrations in the book as well. Specially the fox, but you really didnt like the hunter thought..."

Scarlett nooded her head and said. "Because he looked really scary and I grew to not fear him each time I read the book..." Her smile faded and let out a small sigh and said to him.

"After my curse came... Father looked at me with anger and didnt say anything to me every single day... While Mother... Mother always looked away from me and tried to pretend everything was normal in the house..."

She paused for a secound and said with bit of sadness in her voice. "While everyone in the town just... treated me like a freak and a pest because of it...

Always hearing the rumors about Mother cheated on Father or that I might not share the same blood You and them..." She looked at Xander and said with a calm look on her face.

"Tell me... What did everyone say when they found out about my so called death?" Xander thought back to the women standing by the fence when Gild told him the news and said with anger in his eyes.

"They were happy about it... They were happy that the freak were finaly dead and that I dont have to wait at the gate for you to return..."

He cruled his hand into a fist and said. "When I left... They tried to stop me from going to avenge you, I just ignored them... Ignored them like the disgusting pigs they are..."

Scarlett saw the anger on his face and said to him. "What about..." He knew who Scarlett were refering to and said. "They just sitting in the living room and expected me to give up and come back..."

Hearing this pained Scarlett and knew their Parents only cared about their only son who didnt have her curse. She looked away from him and said with a sad look in her eyes.

"Ever since I found out that I am with child... I got scared... I began to fear...fear that She have to go through all the things I have... Born with magic and be picked on because She's a half breed...

What's even worste is that the Emporor is after me and I dont know why... If he finds out about this he... he is going to kill her for sure and..."

Xander gently placed a hand on her sholdur and said to her. "That is not going to happen... It will be different for her... She is going to have a Father who loves his little girl and a fun caring Uncle who is going to teach her how to hunt with a bow and arrow.

And She is going to have a such a amazing strong woman as her Mother to love her unconditionaly. She even get to walk these grounds and breathe the air of this beautiful world we live in...

I have a strong feeling She grow up to do great things like you someday, because She is going to have Lisir and Lorkor blood running through those tiny little veins of hers..."

Scarlett knew he is right that little girl growing inside her is going to live a happy life. A happy life in a place the ones who wishes to do harm to the Arkans will never discoverd for many years. 

She gently placed her hand on her stomace and began to smile a little think of the good things in this world. She then looked over at Volemìr who is talking with a few Arkans about how the buildings been doing in their absence.

She looked back at Xander and said to him. "You're right... Thank you for talking to me... I really needed this." Xander nooded his head and said to her with a smile on his face.

"You're welcome, If you need to get something else off your chest I am always willing to listen to my litle Sister. " He got up from the ground and offerd a hand to help her up from the ground witch she accepted happily.

She smiled at her Brother before going to Volemìr and heard him say with a calm look on his face. "I see you're in a better mood than we left the village..."

She still smiled and gently grabbed his hand and said. "It helped talking with my brother... I have been having these fears and worries about our child..."

Volemìr gently places a hand on her cheek and said to her. "Its nothing to worry about... our Daughter will be safe here I promise." 

Scarlett nooded her head and said to him. "I know..." She then gently placed her hand on her baby bump and thought for a secound before saying to him.

"What are we going to call our Daughter?" Volemìr looked at her for a few momments before saying to her. "I havent really thought about it... So what do you want to call her?"

Scarlett thought for a momment and thought of names suitable for their little girl. Then She thought about the eldery lady from her hometown who was very kind to her when she were five years old.

She looked at Volemìr with a smile and said. "What about... Aurda?"  Volemìr looked at her and said with curiousity in his voice. "Aurda? is that what we are going to call her?"

Scarlett noticed the tone of his voice and said to him. "We can call her something else if its fine with you." Volemìr shaked his head and held her hand then said.

"No... Audra is a beautiful name for her... Our little girl..." Scarlett smiled and gently placed his hand on her bump and said. "Our little Audra Lisir Lorkor."

Volemìr smiled while he felt the baby's kick inside her belly and looked forward in meeting their little Audra.
