The Hideout

After Volemìr and Chief Erdè left the village and went to the last place Jena went to before she went missing. They looked around for a few minutes until the crystal turned blue and revealed footprints near the stone wall.

They followed the footprints and it lead them to a tunnel with a set of stairs that lead them underground. They walked down the stairs and didnt say a single word to each other until Erdè said to him.

"Tell me why you and your Mate came to my village?" Volemìr turned to look at him and said with a calm look on his face. "Well... My Mate and I came to you to join us and live with us in a place no human knows about."

Erdè looked at him and said with a curious look in his eyes. "Is that why you two came to me? To live in a place that you found?" Volemìr stopped for a momment and said to him.

"It wasnt me that found the place, it was Scarlett..." He looked a bit suprised to hear this and said. "The red haired human found it?" Volemìr nooded his head and said as they countinued down the stairs.

"Yes, She ran off when I kept her inside and couldnt take it anymore. and thatˋs when she found that place... And... I was so scared to lose her and didnt want anything to happen to her... since Sheˋs pregnant with our only daughter..."

Erdè looked at him and said. "Well... Its a good thing nothing bad happend to her that time, but there will be times when you wont be able to protect her or your unborn daughter."

Volemìr lookes at him and said with a serious look on his face. "She can take care of herself, and I wont let anyone take my Daughter as long as life runs through me."

Erdè noticed the look in Volemìrˋs eyes and knew he was hiding something else then said. "Thatˋs not all that is bothering you is there?" Volemìr were silent for a few minutes before saying to him with a thoughtful look on his face.

"I... I saw a Sere-Nii... and it lead me to my Mate..." Upon hearing this Erdè had a look of shock and said to him. "A Sere-Nii?! A spirit of a dead person came to you?!"

Volemìr quickly placed his hand over Erdèˋs mouth and listend carefully if they were discoverd before saying to him. "Yes, and I have a strong feeling it might have been my little brother..."

He then removed his hand from Erdèˋs mouth and said to him. "I tell you more about it after we have saved Jena." Erdè nooded his head and they continued going down the stairs without saying another word to each other.

Once they reached the bottom of the stairs and saw that the place were full of guards. They quickly hid behind a few large boxes and waited for a guard to pass them by.

It didnt take long until a Guard made their way to them and stood next to the boxes. The guard let out a loud yawn before he were grabbed by Volemìr and got pinned to the wall.

Volemìr quickly drew his sword and held it at the guardˋs throat and said in a whisper. "Scream and I have your head cut off." The Guard had a look of fear in his eyes and said.

"H-How did you find this place?" Erdè looked at the fearful guard and said. "It dosent matter, now tell us about the Arkan woman you and your men stole from my Tribe..."

The Guard looked at him and said. "I... I dont know..." Volemìr and Erdè knew the man was lying and thatˋs when Volemìr had a wicked smile on his face and said.

"Dont know you say? I know youˋre lying to us, and do you know what happens to people who lie? They have their stomaces slowly cut open and is left in the forest in a slow painful death.

The last man who lied was alive for weeks while rats and crows eating him alive. I put an end to his suffering once he begged me for mercy.

Maby we drag you outside and do the same?" The man looked even more fearful and said to them both. "Fine, Fine I tell you! The Arkan woman is in the third cell on the secound floor."

Volemìr thanked him before she snaped the manˋs neck and took the keys to the cells. Then went to the secound floor with Erdè and just hoped they didnt come too late.

When they reached the secound floor and found the cell Jena is being held at.Erdè looked into the cell dark cell and quietly called out her name. There were a soft groan in the darkness followed by a weak fenemin voice saying. "Chief? is... is that you?"

Erdè felt relieved that she is still alive while Volemìr unlocked the door to the cell. Erdè stepped inside without hesitation and said with a smile on his face.

"Jena, Let us get you back home. Everyone is worried about you back home and..." Before he then stopped abruptly as soon as he saw the horrific sight layed before him in the hay.

Fur shaved, small cuts on her sholdurs, her tail cut off. She looked at him with a tired look in her eyes as she reached a hand out to him. He gently held her hand as her felt rage in his chest and said to her while Volemìr cruled his hand into a fist and let out a growl.

"I am sorry... I am sorry we didnt find you sooner... We looked for you everywhere but didnt find you... I... am so sorry..." Jena opend her mouth and said in a very weak tone of voice.

"Its alright... I... It is I who should apolgoize... I..." Erdè hushed her and carefully picked her up then said. "No... Its not your fault...now... Letˋs get you home before they discover weˋre here..."

He then turned and walked out of the cell and stopped to look at Volemìr for a few minutes with a look of anger in his eyes. A look that told the Lorkor Chief that he will have vengance for what these people did to one of his own.

And no one will recive any mercy from either him or his men. Volemìr understood his anger clearly and was about to say something when a Guard discoverd them and was about to sound the alarm.

When a dagger hit his neck and he collapsed on the hard ground with a loud thud. Volemìr turned to look at the dead guard at the stairs and saw a figure dressed in a black cloak.

He couldnt see their face because of the scarf that covers half of their face. The person looked at them and opend their mouth to speak. "I am glad to see you here, Volemìr of Lorkor."

Volemìr reconized the tone of the personˋs voice to be female and said to her with a low growl in his voice. "Who are you and why did you pervent that guard from telling everyone we are here.

Dont you work with that man?" The woman were silent for a few secounds then said to him. "No, I do not work with a man who only think about causing pain and suffering on innocent people.

And to answer your question about my name, You may call me Shadora." Volemìr looked at Shadora and thatˋs when he realized something then said.

"Wait are you the one that lead Scarlett and I to the temple where the Carai childeren were beind held at?" She nooded her head witch made Volemìr suprised and was about to say something before she interupted him.

"I can buy you two time to escape, get that girl back home and get to the hidden paradise quickly. And one more thing..." She then took something out of her poket and tossed it to Volemìr then said.

"Give this to Miss Lisir, it should help her get the answers Sheˋs been looking for her whole life." He caught it and looked to discover it is a pendant with a strange looking crest with a red gem at the top.

He had a confused look on his face and said to her. "How is this going to help her give her answers?" Shadora didnt answer him and vanished in a puff a black mist and Volemìr wanted to call out after her.

But he quickly stopped himself as Erdè lookes at him and said. "Come on, Letˋs get going..." Volemìr nooded his head and put the pendant in his pocket then ran up the stairs with Erdè and Jena.

And sneaked their way to the exit as the Guards were distracted at something happening on the right side of the hideout. Once they made it outside they quickly got on their Larkems and rode away as soon as the guards discoverd their captive is missing.

Jena held tight onto the saddle as she kept herself from falling asleep and thought about getting to drink some water.
