Mage and Arkan - Complete

Memory

When Volemìr and Erdè returned to the village with a weak injured Jena on the saddle. Jenaˋs parents quickly helped her off the saddle and looked at their little girl in horror.

She reached her hand to her motherˋs sholdur and said in a weak tone. "H-Hello... Mama..." Her mother began to weep in sadness and held her precious daughter.

While her Father let out angry growls and turned to look at Volemìr and Erdè then said. "Who did this? Who did this to my baby girl!?! my own flesh and blood!?!?"

Erdè put on a serious expression on his face and said. "It was a group of humans who wish to harm us and make us suffer. I swear to you, They will pay for what they did to her."

Jenaˋs Father cruled his hand into a fist and said. "They better! I crush every bone in their body!" Scarlett saw the angry lookes in everyoneˋs eyes and turned to look at Volemìr who were deep in thought.

She walked over to him and said to him. "Volemìr... Is everything alright?" Volemìr looked at her for a few minuts before getting off the saddle and said to her.

"We need to talk in private..." He gently grabbed her hand and lead her to one of the empty tents and Scarlett let go of his hand and said.

"Volemìr, what is going on?" Volemìr looked at her and said with a serious look on his face. "After Me and Erdè found Jena, A Shadory came to us..." Scarlett had a suprised look on her face and said.

"A Shadowry? Was it one of that manˋs men?" He shaked his head and said to her. "No, She killed a guard that discoverd us and told me her name is Shadora.

And I found out that it was her that lead us to the temlpe five months ago..." Scarlett had a look of shock hearing this and said to him. "Are you certain? Are you certain it was this Shadora who lead us to the temple?"

He nooded his head and said to her. "Yes... And She gave me this pendant and told me it will give you the answers you been looking for. I wanted to ask her more questions but she vanished before I could..."

He then took out the pendant and gave it to her with a calm look on his face. Scarlett looked at him with confusion before She looked at the pendant.

As She stared at it and had this feeling She had seen this Pendant before and opend her mouth to say something. When She felt a sharp pain in her head and made her drop the pendant onto the ground.

Volemìr had a concearned look on his face and said to her as she began to feel dizzy as well. She then fainted and Volemìr caught her before she hit the ground and called out her name.

She began to dream about the addict  in her childhood home and didnt remember being up there. She saw her tiny hands reach for a chest hidden in the wall and opend it.

Inside the chest layed the same pendant Volemìr gave her and picked it up. She stroke her tiny fingers on the pice of jewery and noticed it began to glow.

The light got brighter and brighter before vanishing witch made Scarlett confused and wonderd what was that. She then heard her mother call for her and tell her lunch is ready.

She placed the pendant back in the box and placed it where she found it before going down stairs. Then She found herself in a dark place and stood there for a few minutes with a pale look on her face.

She then looked at her hand and said to her. "Thatˋs right... I went up into the addict and found that Pendant... It... It was a week before... Before I found out about my Magic..."

Then came a shinning light and began to light everything up and a fenemin voice that told her to wake up. Scarlett woke up and gasped for air as her eyes looked around Erdèˋs tent until her eyes landed on Volemìr.

He looked at her with a worried look on his face and said. "Are you alright Scarlett, You had me worried sick." Scarlett slowly sat up in the bed and said to him.

"How long have I been out?" Volemìr looked at her and said. "You been unconscious for seven hours..." Scarlett looked at him and said with a blank look in her eyes.

"Really? I been out that long?" Volemìr noticed the look in her eyes and felt even more concearned then said to her. "Scarlett... What's wrong?"

Scarlett looked down at the ground and told him about the memory of her finding the pendant. She even told him about the light comming from it and this voice She havent heard before.

Volemìr looked at her and said. "You think that pendant back at the house was the cause of all your pain and suffering?" She thoughtful for a momment and said to him.

"I think so... But, that mark on the pendant look so familiar to me even though I havent seen before... I... I need to talk to Lady SorenHerth..."

Volemìr had a look of confusion on his face at the mention of that name and said. "Lady who?" Scarlett looked at him and said with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Lady SorenHerth is the keeper of the Grand Library, She knows everything about history about everything that has happend over the centuries. She even knows about the history of the great families, She might know something about this pendant."

Volemìr lookes at her and said to her. "Do you think she knows anything about this pendant?" She lookes at him and said with a determined look on her face.

"Its worth a try... I write to her and have her meet us at the forest waterfall." Volemìr nooded his head and got her paper and a quil and watched her write the letter to Lady SorenHerth.

- Lady SorenHerth,

It has been a long time since we last seen each other and I hope you are doing well. You probably thought me dead all these months but I am very much alive and well.

And I ask that you meet me at the waterfall located east of Kakamùr in five days. I really wish I could tell you why but I perfere to tell you in person.

After writting the letter She gave Volemìr the letter and he attached the letter to a hawk. He whisperd something to the bird and let it fly into the night as the cold desert wind blew on his fur.

He then went back inside the tent and spend a quiet night with Scarlett. And when dawn came They left with the Wasar Tribe back to the hidden paradise.
