Scarlett Johansson POV

We circled the streets for almost half an hour until Y/N was sure no one was following us. Our hands are so tightly clasped and fingers intertwined that I don't even pay attention to where we're going. Glad for an easy conversation that flows naturally and the feel of her big hand covering mine as we reach the destination she's been leading us all along: Bethesda Fountain.

- Now you won't be able to say anymore that this is a lie.- Y/N says with a smile pushing me towards the fountain.

- I think you're really crazy.- I tease laughing at the fact that she brought me to the fountain just so I could dip my feet in it.- Have you dipped your feet here?

Y/N slowly shakes her head in denial.

- Good take off your shoes lady. I won't get cholera alone.

Without protesting she takes off her shoes. I lift my hand and touch the water...... it's freezing and the cool cold late summer night wind doesn't make me want to dive right away.

- It's cold. - I complain sounding like a little girl wrinkling my nose.

Y/N bends down and feels the water. A mischievous smile forms on her lips..... right before she splashes some water on me.

- You. Did. Not. Do. This. - I say shocked by her attitude.

Y/N stands still and crosses her arms at chest height. An unshakable smile across her perfect face.

- Yes I did.

I try to gather as much water as possible and throw it in her direction. Y/N jumps back and no drops hit's her. She arches an eyebrow.

- I'm all wet!- I scream. Her smirk and a playful raised eyebrow tell me where her dirty mind took my comment without even having to say a word.

I try again to wet her but it is in vain. It's useless. I don't have the element of surprise like she has and always guesses when I try to wet her.

- Y/N  Y/L/N!- I scold her, water dripping from my nose.

- Scarlett Johansson! - She scoffs at me in response.

- Wait and see! I'll tie the game when you least expect it - It's a promise, not a threat. She doesn't know but I can be spiteful. Playing to even the game is a sport for me.

- I can't wait.- She has the audacity to smile, as if it's something she's really looking forward to.- Now  go ahead and dips your feet in there.

- Dip my feet? Half my body is wet, I don't think there's any need to put my feet up there at this point.

- Of course there is.- Y/N's head tilts towards me and there's a determined look on her face. I run to the opposite side. It takes less than a full turn around the fountain for her to reach me. She carries me on her lap and walks with me towards the ice-cold waterfall. My protests are completely ignored as she climbs onto the concrete bench that circles the fountain and walks in a straight line with me in her arms.

- No!- I scream when I realize that she is heading straight for the center of the fountain, where the water is falling. I try my best to free myself from her grip, kicking and screaming, but it's useless. She just laughs, satisfied with the attempt as she enters the freezing water. We're both soaked from head to toe when she finally emerges from the fountain, with me still in her arms.
