*****A FEW DAYS LATER*****
Carly was sitting in her living room playing with Rascal after going and picking him up from Skylar's house.
"So no clue on where they went?" Tara asked and Carly shook her head.
"Nope, they just left. I wish she would tell me though, I worry." Carly said.
"She is probably scared we will tell Chris." Shanna said and they all nodded.
"Not with the way he is acting. He is acting like pictures of him have never leaked out before." Tara said as the front door opened and Scott came walking in.
"Any word from him?" Carly asked and Scott shook his head.
"I went to his house and he wont answer the door. I called mom and she said she hasn't heard from him either but she is pissed at him any ways." Scott said and everyone looked confused
"Why?" Tara asked.
"Because he is acting like a damn child. He can't just put Skylar out there like this and then go MIA." Scott said and they all nodded.
"So what do we do?" Shanna asked and everyone was silent.
"Well I will just go by her place and get her mail and put it inside her house. That's about the best I can do." Tara said and they all nodded.
"I will keep Rascal as long as she needs, he's the best dog." Carly said and she petted him. Everyone then petted Rascal as he made his rounds around the room. After everyone left Carly's house her front door opened again and Chris came walking in.
"Is it safe to be here?" Chris asked and Carly glared at him.
"Well you have thrown anything at me." Chris said and sat beside her on the couch.
"What is wrong with you?" Carly asked Chris and he sighed.
"How much do you know?" Chris asked.
"All of it. The pictures posted, you ignoring Skylar and her leaving town." Carly said.
"She left town?!" Chris asked shocked.
"Chris! She was texting you all morning the next morning! Did you not even care?" Carly asked.
"I didn't think her text meant she was leaving town. Where did she go?" Chris asked and Carly shrugged.
"Don't know. She just asked me to watch Rascal." Carly said and Chris saw Rascal laying in his dog bed. Chris put his head in his hands.
"I fucked up Carly. I panicked." Chris said.
"But why?! You have been here before." Carly said.
"Right but Skylar hasn't and she doesn't deserve it. She deserves an easier life." Chris said.
"You think maybe she didn't think was a possibility? You think she was so naïve to believe it couldn't happen? You haven't even called her since if you had she would be home. She needs reassurance from you. I talk to her that morning Chris. She was panicking and scared. She tried not to let it out but she needed you! The man who is the reason for all of this mess and you were a coward!." Carly said and Chris got up and started pacing.
"What do I do Carly? I have no way to even talk to her. If I was text her or call her now I know she wouldn't answer." Chris said and Carly sighed.
"Right....and you don't deserve for her to answer. The only thing you can do is text her and see if she pities you enough to answer." Carly said. Chris pulled out his phone and just looked at the screen.
"Well?" Carly asked.
"I don't know what to say." Chris said.
"You are worthless." Carly said and walked into her kitchen.
"Really Carly?!" Chris asked.
"You weasel your way into her life when it's still halfway upside down. She tells you to back off and I commend you that you did but now she finally opens up and wants to let you in and you back away at the first sign of drama. So people took pictures, so what, what did they see? You want to know what I saw?" Carly asked and Chris nodded.
"I saw a couple who was on a date, having a great time, a couple who really seemed to be into each other. I wont use the L word because first date and all but Chris you are taken by her and the first sign of trouble you cut and run. You fucking hid like a kid playing hide and go seek Christopher! Well congratu-fucking-lations you lost her." Carly said and Chris groaned.
"I will get her back Carly, I have to." Chris said.
"I don't know if you can Chris." Carly said.
"What do you do if this happens again? You know you are treated like Boston Royalty around here and they see you out with her, pictures going to be taken. You going to hurt her and disappear every time? She deserves better Chris and if that's going to you M.O. let her go now." Carly said.
"I wont do it again, she is all I want and I need to prove it to her." Chris said and Carly said.
"Then lets start planning this out now." Carly said. As Chris and Carly sat and talked about everything Chris could do to win Skylar back Chris's phone went off. He opened it to see a text from Chase with a video.
>Listen, I'm really pissed right now and she will be pissed if she knew I did this but she has been singing this song around the house all day. She finally sat down and played it. I recorded her without her knowing because I think you need to hear that she does miss you and you may still have a chance with her just figure it out and don't fucking hurt her again. She has been through enough shit.<
Chris made the video full screen on his phone and she saw Skylar sitting at the piano and she started playing and then started singing.
