coraline woke up to a bunch of kisses upon her face making her smile slightly and lift her hand to karl's hair, carding her fingers through his hair before groaning and turning over to burrow her face in their pillows.
karl smiled at coraline, admiring her while laying down next to her and wrapping his arms around her small build and brought her in close.
"i'm still mad at you for killing me that last game" cora mumbled while laying her head against karl's chest.
"you big baby" karl cooed jokingly all while kissing the top of her head.
"how was the rest of your stream?" coraline dared to ask knowing that the feeling of jealously would probably form again.
"it was really good! tina's really fun to hang out with, i could really see it becoming a regular thing" karl told her before boasting about his stream, which wasn't an unusual thing for him to do after his streams, but coraline couldn't stop thinking about the 'what if's'
as karl excitedly explained what happened with his stream, the extent of coraline's responses were hums, nods and 'that's great' leaving karl to feel a little down as he always reciprocated the excitement whenever coraline explained something that excited her, to him.
their conversation got cut short by wilbur calling coraline making her grab her phone and excuse herself from their room, karl sat up and watched as cora answered the phone happily before closing the door behind her.
with his brows frowned he got out of their bed and walked towards cora's stream room where she was now loading up her pc and laughing at something wilbur had said.
"you're so smart and for what?" coraline exclaimed loudly leaving karl with a pit in his stomach... what did wilbur say that left coraline laughing and that made him so smart?
