cora stayed by karl's side the whole night, not once did she leave his side, even for a second, afraid that something might touch her or whisper in her ear again, and that thought terrified her.

like promised, karl comforted her the whole time, reassuring her that she was indeed safe and that he wasn't going anywhere.

karl had never seen coraline like this before, in the 6 and a half months they'd been dating and year and bit that they've known each other, coraline had never been so scared or clingy to karl, not that he minded her staying close to him or staying at his house, he was more worried about her mental health and well-being.

coraline had finally gone to sleep which released a lot of weight off karl's shoulders, looking down and noticing how for the first time since coming back home, her face was relaxed and her body wasn't stiff.

she looked peaceful, she looked like cora again. karl had his chin resting on the top of cora's head with his arms wrapped around her body looking at his phone.

he was contemplating just posting a photo of them kissing and that could be their announcement that they're dating instead of having to hide their relationship. he wanted too, but he wouldn't without coraline permission first.

karl wanted to show coraline off, flaunt her off and rub it into everyone's faces that the two were dating and are so incredibly in love. to prove to everyone that he was capable of getting the girl and that he was in fact the luckiest man alive.

the more he thought about it the more he was certain he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, karl was certain that he wanted to marry coraline and that was a scary thought, not the marrying cora part but the part where he was 100% sure what he wanted to do with his life now.

dropping his phone he moved his head to the side to look at the sleeping girl that laid on top of him, she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever laid eyes upon, there was not a single thing wrong with her.

karl moved the hair that had fallen in front of her face and caressed her cheek with his thumb "god, i'm so in love with you" he whispered.

obviously, coraline didn't respond but a smile still crept up onto his face, she was his end and he was fine with that... he wanted that.

the couple sat in karl's living room as coraline laid on one end of karl's couch scrolling through twitter and karl sat on the opposite end on his laptop, with one hand typing and the other resting on cora's ankle.

the two were both in their own little world doing their own little things until karl looked up at cora with tight lips and sighed unknowingly, cora looked up at karl and noticed him already staring at her.

nerves erupted into her stomach as she locked her phone and placed it on her stomach, "that was a big sigh"

"i don't know how to word this so i'm just gonna come out and say it, i think i've decided i'm gonna move houses" coraline's eyebrows shot up as her mouth dropped slightly.

cora would be lying if she said she wasn't upset about the news karl had just given her but she couldn't be selfish about it, it was ultimately karl's decision, it's his life and whatever he wanted to do with it, he could, but the thought of being farther away from karl, it was unsettling.

"oh" was the only thing that came out of cora's mouth, what was she meant to say?

"oh?" karl leant back into the couch and moved the laptop farther away, cora got a glimpse of the real estate website on his laptop before he shut it and looked back towards her, his hand still placed firmly on her ankle but now his thumb was rubbing comforting circles.

"how soon did you wanna move out?" coraline asked before biting her lip, karl frowned and took his hand off her ankle for a second to flick it before putting it back.

"baby, stop" karl told her "but i wanna move as soon as i can, got a noise complaint from next door about how loud i am when i stream and how loud you are when we... you know" cora's cheeks flushed red quickly and ducked her head down to hide her face.

"that's so embarrassing!" coraline gasped, covering her face with her hands she couldn't help the growing smile upon her face.

"you're not mad at me right?" karl asked after a little bit of silence, coraline shook her head and sat up to crawl towards karl, he pouted at the lack of contact between them now that he was no longer touching cora's ankle but that quickly stopped when he watched her swing into his lap so she was straddling him.

"not mad or upset with you, just upset about the situation but thinking about it, you moving could be a good thing" coraline told karl playing with his hair, karl's hands rested upon coraline's thighs anxiously.

"hmm?" karl asked genuinely curious as to what cora was going to say, he watched cora as she smiled deviously and dipped her head down to place a kiss against karl's neck, karl let out a low moan and gripped cora's thighs tightly.

"we can be as loud as we want in the house" coraline teased grinding her hips against karl's growing hard-on.

"fuck" karl breathed out before grabbing coraline and throwing her underneath him, his hands fumbling with his belt while cora smiled up at him sweetly.

"take your fucking shorts off" karl groaned rolling against cora.

"yes, sir"
