now that cora and karl were out in the open about their relationship, an extremely heavy weight got lifted off their shoulders, they didn't have to be as cautious about hiding anything and their friends didn't have to tiptoe around anything anymore either.
dating someone for a year is something so rewarding, getting to know that person better than they know themselves, noticing little quirks about each other and understanding how to help them grow as a person is something truely so magical.
being with your best friend everyday and growing as not only a couple but as people and having your close friends and family notice the growth, really showed how strong their relationship was.
"i hate grocery shopping, can we not just order it online and have everything delivered?" karl groaned while pushing the shopping kart along through the isles.
"come on you big baby, it's not that bad!" coraline smiled, her arm linked around karl's just so she was touching and close, picking up what they needed from that isle before turning into the next one.
"it is that bad, we could be watching tangled right now! or high school musical! there's not enough hours in the day" karl complained before reaching over to grab some bolognese sauce.
"there's so many hours in the day, but i wouldn't mind watching high school musical" karl stops the kart and lifted his hand to wipe his face before putting it back down on the handle.
"what are we doing here then?! lets go! troy bolton is waiting for us" karl told cora about to leave the kart and just walk out of the store like it was nothing.
"we're not leaving! we're literally almost done, come on" cora dragged a moping karl through the store trying to get him to participate in the shopping.

"can we bake a cake!!! for our one year?! please! baby, that would be so much fun! and we can stream it so the fans can finally experience karline properly! please!" coraline asked jumping up and down like she was a toddler on christmas.
smiling, karl pulled cora into his chest and looked out at the pre-made boxes of cake on the shelves in front of them. "which one? you can pick"
"can we get chocolate?! please!" coraline asked pointing at the box above her, karl reached forward to grab the box and put it with the other groceries before pulling cora along.
"i'm so excited! i love you!" cora's smile was contagious, even the grumpy buisness man walking down the isle next to them smiled noticing cora's bubbly state.
