Stephen
I set up the time and meeting place for Laura and Clint and have them meet me there on Saturday. "Clint, Laura."
"Hey Stephen." Clint says and Laura waves. I open the door to my old house and have them walk in.
"Call me when you are done talking. Do try and not burn/or break anything."
I walk out and lock the door behind me while casting a locking spell and putting it on the doors and windows. I go back to the Sanctum and remove the protection spell. When I step inside Loki is standing there with a huge grin on his face.
"I'm not bothering to ask how you got inside. What do you want?"
"It's October Stephen." He says and I nod.
"Your point is?"
"Tony, Bucky, Sam, Peter, Wanda, and I are going Trick Or Treating." He says and I nod again.
"Let me guess, you want me to come with you guys." He nods and I sigh. "Why?"
"Because it'll be fun and you spend too much time here anyway." Loki states and I walk to the kitchen and pull out what I need to make a salad.
"Peter I understand going, but the rest of you are grown adults. Or did you just never grow up?" Loki looks offended but there's not much he can say, Considering he's the god of mischief.
"We just want to do something for Halloween and everyone else is either busy or doesn't want to go." He says and I take a bit out of my salad.
"You seem to forget that I 1 never went with you guys until Senior year, 2 I have to be here and guard the Sanctum because I can only leave it empty for so long, and 3 we're adults, they're not just going to give us candy if we go up to there door like all the kids."
"Please." He asks and I continue to eat my salad.
"No. Peter will more than likely go off with his friends and on top of that we all have jobs. I can't just go out and spend the night collecting candy like a little kid."
"Do you still even want to try and get with Tony?" Loki asks and I see a look of confusion on his face.
"Why do you ask?"
"He waited and is still currently waiting. Yes he had flings with a few girls while in college and yes he dated Pepper for a while, but he's still waiting on you." Loki says and I feel a small tinge of guilt hit me.
"Yes, I do still want to be with him. My feeling haven't changed over the years, but I don't see how this is relevant to you trying to get me to come Trick Or Treating with you all."
"I'm trying to help you, like you helped me and Möbius. Also you need to get out more, and no going to different dimensions and timelines doesn't count because that's part of your job." He says and I flick a tomato at him. He catches it confused as I turn to clean up my now empty bowl and fork.
"I just gave him confidence in telling him that you did in fact like him. I know Tony's feelings and he knows mine. You can't help me the same way I helped the two of you because I already knows how he feels."
He eats the tomato I flicked in his direction and leans against the counter. "One night. Ask Wong to come back and guard the place, I'm certain that he will push out the door and go enjoy yourself for one night. Because let's be honest here Stephen, you need a break, and just fought two insanely hard villains on your own yesterday." He says and I dry everything off and put it away.
"You already told him I was going didn't you."
Loki nods and I roll my eyes. "See you tomorrow night Stephen." Loki says and then leaves. I look at Cloaky who just shrugs his collar and goes to lay on one of the chairs.
