Who are you

He'll never be the same but they understand

5 years later

After what happened to me 5 years ago, I haven't been the same. Those that were there became more protective of me and they always call Peter, Vision, or Stephen if they aren't there. I always breakdown when something reminds me of what happened that day.

"Stephen....." He looks up from his book and sets it aside and opens his arms for me to come and climb onto his lap. I go over to him and do just that while he wraps me up in a very protective hug. 

Steve walks into the living room and I hide my gaze from him, as he looks over at me sadly. "Are you okay Tony?" Steve asks and Stephen nods and Steve leaves. "Do you want to go to another room and talk about what happened?" Stephen asks and I nod. 

He picks me up and takes us to our bedroom. I cling to him as if I were to let go, he would disappear and I would wake back up in that hell. "I can't breath." He takes one of my hands and places it over his heart. 

"I'm right here, I'm right here. Do you want me to call Peter and have him pick Morgan up from school later, and then we all just watch a movie together like we did when they were younger?" Stephen asks and I nod as he pulls his phone out from his pocket and sends Peter a quick text. 

Not a moment later does Peter respond and Stephen sets his phone on the bedside table. "I don't want you to leave me." 

"And I won't. I won't leave you for as long as I can. No darling we have to talk about what caused this. I know you don't want to but it has to be done and the longer we put it off, the longer it torments you." He says and I lean into him more. 

"Fury was showing me different images of places were Hydra may have once worked, and he wants us all to go and check them out. One of them looks exactly like the place where everything happened 5 years ago and I left to come and find you." 

He kisses the top of my head and sighs. "I told you that we should tell him." Stephen says.

"He's not going to actually give a damn." 

"Anthony he loves you like a son and would rather die than put you through anything that's going to cause your mind more torment and pain." He says and I curl up in his arms as Levi wraps around both of us.

"You can't be sure of that." 

"Cloaky, hold him. I'm going to grab something that I've been holding off from showing you." Stephen says and Levi wraps me tighter and and Stephen goes to go get something from the Sanctum. 

I wait there and when Stephen gets back he grabs my left hand gently and holds it in his own for a moment. "What are you doing?"

"I have three items that I was able to conjure and I'm letting you take yours out of them. This will give me access to where you are and it will protect you while I'm away. I told you that the ring I gave you on our wedding day was a temporary for the one that I wanted to give you." Stephen says. 

"What about you?" 

"I can cast spells to keep myself safe. The rest of you can't do that and it took way too long to get these for the rest of you. I've got enough for everyone and then some. We need a better way to keep track of everyone and you all can keep track of each other as well all you have to is ask and they will do the rest." Stephen says and I hug him tightly. 

"Thank you. I love you so much, thank you." 

"I'm telling Fury about this. We will not be letting you go and the others will understand, they can back you up." Stephen says and I kiss him on his cheek. He takes off my wedding ring and replaces it with the ring that he made before sighing and resting his head on my shoulder.
