The Hashiras

I opened my eyes, I look around me.

It looks like I am in some sort of room. My body hurts so much, I'm feeling pain from every part of my body. Beside me, I see Tanjiro reading a book, until he noticed me.

Tanjiro: Ah you're awake! I'm so glad you're okay.

Asahi: What happened?

Tanjiro: I have a faint memory of us fighting demons, then we both collapse. That's all I can remember.

Asahi: Oh.. I'm going to get some water.

Tanjiro: Wait! You can't move, your body is still badly injured!

Asahi: I'll be fine... Ahh!! It hurts!

Tanjiro: I told you... Just relax, I'll get some water and something for us to bite on.

Tanjiro left the room.

Not long after that, someone entered the room. I expected for it to be Tanjiro but instead it's Rengoku.

Rengoku: Asahi, my boy!! How are you holding up?

Asahi: Oh Rengoku-san, I'm doing just fine here. My whole body still hurts like hell but I can manage.

Rengoku: That's good to hear, you're a very strong boy, so you'll recover in no time!

Asahi: Thanks, Rengoku san.. I hope so.

Then, Tanjiro entered the room with some meals.

Rengoku: Ah! Kamado, boy!! You look well!

Tanjiro: Yes, but I can still feel some pain within my body. I bet Asahi will heal faster than me!

Asahi: No.. no.. Look at you! You can already stand up and walk properly!

Rengoku: Hahaha!! Both of you will heal fast, take a few days. I need to be going now, see you later!

Asahi & Tanjiro: See you!

Tanjiro: Here, Asahi. Let's eat!

A few days later

We were outside, doing some training like usual.

While we were doing our training, I see from the corner of my eye that Kanao was watching us from afar. I decided to walk over to her.

Asahi: Hey! Want to join us?

Kanao: Think about what Tanjiro said, follow your heart. Make your own decisions.

Kanao: No, it's alright. I was about to leave anyway..

Asahi: Oh alright then!

Suddenly, a crow flew towards us.

"THE FLAME HASHIRA WANTS ASAHI AND TANJIRO TO MEET AT HIS HOUSE!! HIS HOUSE!! NOW!! NOW!!"

Asahi: Hm.. Now what's up with that.

Tanjiro: I don't know too.

Asahi: Thank you for the message!

"THE HUMAN ACTUALLY THANKED ME!"

At Rengoku's House

Tanjiro and I walked towards the house, it didn't took us long to get there.

At the front gate, we were greeted by Rengoku's little brother, Senjuro.

Senjuro: Asahi! It's so good to see you again!

Asahi: Senjuro! It's so good to see you too.

I said as I ruffled his hair. After a long time training under Rengoku, Senjuro and I have spent a lot of time together, I could even see him as my little brother.
