"How do you deal with their constant bickering?" John scoffed at the Holmes brothers.

"After 15 years of knowing them, you'll get used to it," I explained.

"You've known them for 15 years?" John was taken aback. I chuckled and nodded in agreement, and he fell silent, probably still stunned by what he had just heard.

The car finally came to a stop on Baker Street, and I went inside with them to get my clothes and laptop, saying goodbye before returning to the car and driving home with Mycroft.

Timeskip at the manor

Mycroft unlocked the door and assisted me in taking off my coat before we went to the living room and sat beside each other.

"Is your head okay?" Mycroft asked, putting an arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it doesn't hurt all that much, you should see the other guy," I joked.

"Hmmm... yes, I heard he was badly injured and died," Mycroft said flatly.

We just sat there silently enjoying each other's company for a few minutes before I fell asleep on his side. A few moments later, I felt myself being lifted, and I stirred slightly. "You go back to sleep, love, I'll just move you to a bed," Mycroft whispered, and I nodded and fell back asleep.

I was placed on a soft bed and moved in order to properly lay on it. I heard Mycroft go to the walk-in closet to change into his pyjamas. I stripped naked and am now only wearing my underwear. He returned and handed me his shirt, which I always sleep in when I have a week off from work and can stay with him. He gathered my clothes from the floor and placed them in the laundry basket. And then he returned to bed with me.

I scoot over to him and fall asleep. I fall asleep as I feel Him trace invisible patterns on my arm.

I hear people shouting in an other language, and then a sack was pulled off my head, causing a blinding flash of light. My hands are tied, and I can make out a brown-headed man standing in front of me clutching a battery or something.

When I looked around, I noticed tents filled with guns. Someone had shoved my shoulder and told me to follow the man in front of me.

now I'm in a different place, I'm falling from the sky and falling on the sand. I can see a hand helping me up I can hear the person asks if I'm alright

they helped me up and we began walking looking for shelter or help

I suddenly wakeup because of the dream or should I say nightmare, I look at the clock and saw that it was 2:30am and I turned to see that Mycroft is still asleep, I lay on my back and stared at the ceiling and wait for the sleep to find me again

Timeskip to the morning

I feel the familiar warmth of someone's body next to me and when I open my eyes I see Mycroft sleeping peacefully beside me. I took in his features, his slow breathing and his soft snores that I find adorable.

Someone will probably think I'm crazy if I find him adorable, but they won't be able to blame me once they see him behind his Iceman mask. They will see how much he truly cared for his brother, as well as how much he cares about and worries about his family. But I'm grateful that this version of him is only visible to me; my train of thought was interrupted by...

"You're staring," Mycroft said as he looked into my eyes.

"Just admiring," I said as I softly kissed him on the lips.

"So, Myc, what are you going to be doing today?" I ask as we break away from the kiss.

"Just some paperwork and cleaning up the royal family's mess, as usual, my dear," Mycroft said as he stood up and went to the bathroom.

"Oh, is that so? Well, is it possible for me to accompany you to your workplace?" I inquired as I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Yes, you are welcome to accompany me to my office," Mycroft said after shaving his growing beard and brushing his teeth.

Timeskip to the dining room

"Good Morning Louisa" I greeted our housekeeper of 10 years since Mycroft and I got married.

"Good morning, Mrs Holmes," Louisa said as she led me into the dining room.

I notice Mycroft leaving his office with his briefcase and placing it beside the sofa before proceeding to the dining room.

"Good morning, Louisa," Mycroft said as he took a seat at the head of the table.

She brought us a full English breakfast and a cup of Earl Grey tea for breakfast.

"I missed your cooking, Louisa," I said as I ate the fried egg and bacon, and she just smiled.

Timeskip

Mycroft and I finished our breakfast and were in the car on the way to his office. I watch the scenery of London since it's been months since the last time I visited England

The car finally stopped at a building which I assume to be Mycroft Office. Mycroft opened the car door for me like the gentleman he is.

He guided me inside and I heard the workers gossiping about the new director of MI5.

A brunette woman that is focused on her phone walked toward us and informed Mycroft of his schedule. We arrived in front of a metal sealed door. Mycroft opened the door for me and helped me remove my coat and hung it on a coat rack. His assistant left to go to her desk outside the door.

Mycroft sat at his chair and just observed me while I looked around his office. I went to the coat rack and grabbed the small book I have in the coat. And I went to his side and sat on his lap and read the book and he started sorting through his paperwork.
