Mycroft opened the door for me and assisted me to the front door when the vehicle came to a halt in front of the manor.

I'm now in the living room, waiting for Mycroft, who has gone to the kitchen. Mycroft returned a few minutes later with a cup of tea and a few maids trailing behind him with a medkit and some fruits.

Mycroft handed me the tea, which I assumed was healing tea, and the maids set the fruits, medkit, and teapot on the coffee table.

"I'll be gone for a few hours, but they'll take care of you while I'm gone," Mycroft said, grabbing his coat, briefcase, and umbrella, and giving a few orders to the maids before leaving and going to work.

"How can we help you, Mr/s Holmes?" one of the maids inquired.

"Where is Louisa, and please call me Y/n?" I inquired, blowing at the tea and feeling the steam before taking a sip.

"Mrs Mitchell went to get some groceries," the maid explained.

"You lot can go back to what you're supposed to do, I'll go and reside in the bedroom," I said, getting up and walking towards the hall with different paintings on the wall and stopping in front of our bedroom.

I went into the walk-in closet to look for a change of clothes, and then I went to the bathroom and prepared a hot bath for myself to relax my muscles.

After the hot water became cold, I dried myself off, changed into new clothes, and looked for a book to read. I chose the book Coriolanus, which is about a Roman general named Coriolanus who makes his name by defeating an enemy army and defending Rome. The Senate elects him consul, but he fails to win popular support, so he is exiled from Rome and joins forces with his old foe.

It's an interesting book, and when my phone rang while I was reading it, I went to answer it without checking who was calling.

"y/n l/n speaking, how can I assist you?" I inquired.

"Y/n go to Bart's John and I are on our way there, the explosion on Baker Street isn't a gas leak at all, I'll explain everything when you get there," Sherlock said before hanging up the phone. I sighed, marked the chapter I was reading, and went to the closet and get changed and went out of the bedroom and made my way downstairs.

"I'll be out for a few hours," I told the maids who were about to stop me from leaving. I shrugged on my coat and went out, calling the driver to prepare the car. When the car arrived, I got inside and told the driver to take me to Bart's hospital.

Timeskip

the car came to a halt in front of the hospital and I told him that he can go and I'll call If I want to leave. I went inside and look for the laboratory that I know sherlock always went to.

once I arrive at the right room, I went inside and I see sherlock removing the shoes from a ziplock pocket and John beside him looking at it as well, sherlock raise his head and saw me.

"good you're here," Sherlock said and went to deduce the shoes, I shrugged my coat off and placed it on a counter and I walked toward them and greeted john.

"what do you mean that it wasn't a gas leak sherlock?" I asked him and went to look at the other shoes.

"It wasn't gas leak, it was made to look like it, the place had a strong box and it contained this..." sherlock said and showed me a pink phone.

"There is a bomber they kidnapped people and makes sherlock solve some sort of puzzle," John said.

"and where are the shoes from?" I asked *It's a great pair of trainers and the owner loved them from the looks of it they are scrubbed clean, and it's whitened where it got discoloured, changed the laces four times, a few traces of flaky skin on where their fingers have come into contact, so the owner had eczema, the shoes are well worn, much more on the inner side means they had weak arches, it's British-made from 20 years ago.* I deduced while moving it from one side to the other

"It was at room 221c baker street, right in the middle of the living room" sherlock said moving the shoe at different angles, I nodded at what he said. and began to collect samples on the shoes, while I was doing that a woman went inside the laboratory smiling at sherlock *She has a cat and is currently dating someone, but she fancies Sherlock; she went out with someone to distract herself from her feelings for Sherlock, and she is the one who allows Sherlock to keep body parts; she is the replacement for Stephen, the old specialist registrar.*

"I need samples of the mud on these shoes to locate where it was from, "Sherlock told her

She began collecting samples of it, and as I examined the samples that I had obtained, I displayed them on the other microscope. Molly left after collecting the samples from the shoes and placing them on a device that detects what is in the samples.

While looking through the microscope, I notice John pacing back and forth, so I focus on their conversation.

"So who do you think it was?" John asked Sherlock, assuming it was about the phone call they had earlier. Sherlock hums in befuddlement.

"The crying woman on the phone," John explained.

"She doesn't matter because she's a hostage and there's no lead there," Sherlock explained.

"I wasn't talking about the lead, Sherlock," John clarified.

"You're not going to be much help to her," Sherlock said, glancing at the computer.

"Is that attempting to trace the call?" John inquired of Sherlock.

"The bomber is too smart for that," said Sherlock, as his phone's notification rang.

"Bring me my phone," sherlock said as john looked around for it.

"Where's your phone?" John inquired.

"Jacket," Sherlock said, and John rolled his eyes before approaching Sherlock and harshly searching through his jacket.

"careful!" said Sherlock, and John rolled his eyes before grabbing the phone from Sherlock's jacket.

"A text from Mycroft," John said as he looked at his phone.

"Delete it," Sherlock instructed.

"delete it?" john asked

"Missile plans have left the country; there is nothing we can do about it," Sherlock explained.

"Well, Mycroft believes there is, he texted you eight times, must be important," John explained.

"Then why didn't he cancel his dental appointment?" mumbles Sherlock.

"Why would he cancel his dental appointment and I told him to go," I said, john looking between me and Sherlock dumbfounded.

"Mycroft doesn't text if he can talk," Sherlock said, and I rolled my eyes at Him before returning my gaze to the microscope.
