Nala's pov:

I didn't get any sleep again, worrying about detention. I mean, what is my problem? It's just detention. What's the worst that could happen? Little did I know....

When my alarm went off, I was already awake, so I just turned it off and got ready for school. Detention would last until 5 today, so I packed some extra snacks, before heading out the door. I said goodbye to Toshi, and walked to school. I met up with Jackson, and we talked together like normal.

"You don't have to wait for me, I mean, what are you supposed to do outside for 2 hours?" I insisted.

"I want to wait for you. I'm waiting, and there's nothing you can do about it." He smirked at me. I threw my hands up in exasperation, and we walked into class. I sat at my seat, and I got that weird feeling again. I looked at the teacher and he was, looking at my skirt? I looked down to see if I had something on it, but I didn't. A chill was sent down my spine, and Jackson noticed. Before he could even ask I answered.

"Just a weird feeling again. Something must be wrong with me." I pretended to laugh it off.

Class went on just as it did yesterday, with the teacher staring at me almost the whole time. At lunch I sat with Jackson, and we were in the middle of talking when he perked up.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" He said as he rushed to dig something from his bag.

"What?" I ask eagerly. He pulled out a little box.

"I got these for you." He said as he handed me some air-pods.

"WHAT?!" I shrieked.

"Well, I broke your other earbuds, so I figured..." He trailed off, but I smiled at him, and pulled him into a hug.

"Thanks." I say, and I see him blush.

After lunch, we finished off the school day.

"I'll be right outside." Jackson says. I sigh.

"You don't have to wait." I say one last time, but he shakes his head.

"You know I'm not changing my mind." He says, and I nod. I then make my way to the classroom.

"You will be cleaning out my closet." The teacher says when I walk in. (A/n: I don't know about you, but in my school, there is a big closet in all of the rooms to store books and stuff.)
