Some call it love..

this failed race

Is it worth it to be selfless instead of selfish?

Should man kind bow down on it's knees

when a new comer comes their way?

Should comapssion towards the sick and poor

someday be rewarded to make the world a better place?

should a smile truely become contagious at first sight?

spreading across this cruel world with all this pain

shall it take away all the mind numbing memories

some fail to forget

to one day be erased from the past

make the future a better world to walk upon

hear the children cry out in agony

as the world crashes down

screaming for someone to save them

there is no cure to humanity

for we are only human

we have plagued this world with nothing

but pure destruction and chaos

each breath we take

makes us fall deeper into 

our cold graves

we dig our own graves

helping others as well

we are only human

we breathe to live 

we live to die

we sacrificed this world 

for our own selfish purposes

the end is nigh

the world hears our cries

but will do nothing to save us

for we have abused it

used it

without thanking or even asking

we brought on this chaos

this destruction
