I fall my body quivering
He looks at me like a demon
His eyes set ablaze
The fear
Spreads through out my body
I know he can sense it
Licking his lips
He gives me that twisted smile
That no one but him
Has done before
He heaves against my face
Saliva dripping from his mouth
I swalow with distaste
As his breath reaks of something
That only has been told in folk tales
My eyes wander towards his clothing
All covered in blood
Surely he must have been harmed
Perhaps he had been attacked by a wolf?
A man of the night
His eyes were droopy
There was no sign of sincerity in the tone of his voice
My mind was asking me questions I knew not of
My heart was pounding loudly against my chest
I closed my eyes and could feel his jaws widening
How was I to know that this
Man who was once clothed in black and a white
Was none other
Than the man of the night
The moon struck his curly locks
It made his teeth glow
Like a firefly
My heart beat grew rapid
Catching my breath
I could see what his eyes were focused on
His pupils looked like black orbs
Bound to devour me whole
His face pale
Hands masculine
Something errie about his scent
attracted me in
A creature of the night
My mind puzzled
He leans in for a kiss
His frozen lips touch mine
Did he have no soul?
I figured that surely
He should have known
You do not court a maiden
without asking so
What a perpetual beast
He acts like a king
I'm the feast
I dare not say my name
For he might find a way to steal that as well
He finishes with a parting glance
My heart swells
He walks away from me
Like a detective
Frrom a crime scene
I care not for the bleeding carcass beside me
The woods have his scent still lingering
For one moment
I wished this nightmare end
But on the other hand
This man I just met
Has this mystery that I wish to solve
Death is now a journey that awaits me
To be like the man of the night
