"Kate for god's sake" She is the definition of perfection and still has a stupid eating disorder, I wish I could know how.

I want her to trust me, I want her to feel safe and protected.

finally, she takes the ice cream I have been holding for the past 30 minutes with no mercy, my hands are frozen, I can't move my fingers anymore, I feel the warm breeze hit my hand in freezing it from my palm to the tips of my fingers.

"I wonder how that Ice cream lasted" I look at my red hand and then to the vanilla ice cream she is holding, "cause your cold-hearted" wow, I spent 3 nights in this goddamn hospital, and when she finally has the strength again she acts all bitchy.

I am not saving her the next time she tries to die... I of course will.

"Your stuff are in your room by now" I say to her, she looks at me wide eyes "my phone" she really thought.

"No" she grins, "so you're kidnapping me and not giving my phone back" I swear I am not saving her next time. "When you finally decide to be more mature, and understand there is no point of escaping you will get it".

She is silent. Like deep water. No words but still a lot unsaid behind these green gorgeous eyes.

And I can't but wonder what would've happened if I wasn't there, if she actually fell, If I wasn't strong enough to hold her weight, what if she actually died.

Katalina.

She intrupts my thoughts.

"Real question...why would you save me? I mean we are enemy's after all, and you have no business in keeping me alive, so why wouldn't you just kill me?"
she asks with a serious tone, the question that I don't have an exact answer for cause she doesn't know. She doesn't know about my mom, how she left me, how she broke a promise. She doesn't know anything in fact, she doesn't know how she reminds me of her in a way it hurts... Just looking at her hurts, cause behind those eyes I could see hers, behind that behavior I could see her. I could see katalina. She doesn't know she is the only reason I am holding on right know, cause I remember her, in every single movement taken by this girl, sitting in front of me.

What a nightmare.

Katalina.

"Because- you saved me first" I finally say and I am not telling an untruth.

Katalina.

"Wh-what?" she looks really confused and I don't blame her, I clear my throat "I don't want to have this conversation right now, Kate" I get up to walk out of the room, she sits fully up "No, I need an explanation, you are supposed to kill me, you have all the right to, I am literally the daughter of Allesandro Adler and you're keeping me alive? Your insane" she laughs, her voice getting louder.

Katalina.

"Kate, I have work to do" I turn to leave.

"Be open. Be raw. Be fucking real Leo" Her voice getting louder this time.

"Okay, want to know the truth Kate, I grew up without my mom she is a fucking drug addict who doesn't give a shit about me or about my brother. Left us like we didn't mean anything to her.-" it all came out as a lecture, she looks traumatized ..

"And what does that have to do with you keeping me alive?" she cuts me off, with a softer voice this time.

"Everything in you makes me remember her, in the best way possible, literally everything. Just you being you is her, and I can't get myself to do it, since that day in that restaurant, since the second my eyes landed on you, I felt like I am seeing the younger version of her, the way you laugh, act, talk, even your attitude and yes it's driving me insane.-"the room grows silent.

She doesn't speak, not a single word.

"And then Allesandro comes out of nowhere to kill the only person that mattered to me after her. I felt protected, he took that shelter from me. He was there for me no matter what and He is not here anymore." I feel my chest getting heavier and heavier with her silence.

"Leo" I look up directly, seeing her worried eyes " I want to see the footage you were talking about" she seems so unsure about what she is saying, and I can't blame her, Allesandro fucked up a lot.

"You got it" No matter how bad it will hurt her, I don't fucking care. She should see how her dad is a complete insane monster, who doesn't care about her or her brother or even his own wife. Little does her mom know what her dad's been doing for the past 2 years non-stop.

I wonder if Andrew knew his ex's raper owns the whole Italien Mafia. He ruined me. He killed my father. And now he will watch me as I set his world on fire, with his daughter on my side.
